For the last 34 years of my life, I had been told a number of things to help improve my hygiene, behaviour, and style to help me get into healthy relationships. Women like guys with a good sense of humour, are educated, and have stable employment. They also like guys that shower twice a day, brush their teeth three times a day, and keep the house clean.

I would say that I picked up some bad habits from my father. But, I have tried to outgrow them over the years of my adult life. However, some of the relationships I have had have been run off because of the attitude problem my father has tried to force on my girlfriends. Misogyny and narcissism were my father's game. Only a couple of girls could tolerate him. Have you ever had a father that thought the politeness shown by a girlfriend was a signal that the father could pucker up and lean in for a kiss? Dad is such a redneck, that he believes that he could have whoever he wanted.

Meanwhile, my experiment of washing myself with Axe body wash before work had no real effect on the female co-workers. No comments, compliments or "Alright... Who has been washing themselves with Axe body wash??". Nope, nothing.

My beauty routine before work is a shave, wash with lemongrass soap, apply Vaporub to my feet (once a week), use baking soda as a mouthwash, use body deodorant, and apply aftershave cologne. Normally, that hygiene is enough to keep the mosquitos away. But, that is normally a fragrance of cleanliness that could keep even the most frigid of women interested.

Maybe I need to work on my personality.
