And still no EVIDENCE. Why is that so difficult for you? Shocked

hazardous pollution-level  monitors in congested urban areas prove it.

And not one recorded death. Jeez you are really focused on this. Now focus on finding this evidence. Statistics can't tell how someone lived or died. Roll Eyes

I'm focused on it because health-damaging filthy tobacco and filthy fossil have been exposed as dangerous to health for decades. Note: poor health doesn't necessarily kill, but it does wreck the quality of one's life.

And yet you can't cite one paper that says PM2.5 causes poor health. Shocked

The authorities know fossils  do cause poor health. That's why they de-leaded fuel and demanded anti pollution gear on car engines.

More skeptical science? Why did refiners agree to the expense of  de-leading  petrol, and why did car makers agree to add expensive, performance-destroying anti-pollution gear to their IC engines?

You haven't even been able to prove that claim. If that is true why do the Chinese have a long lifespan?

Shangahi for instance one of the most polluted.

There was no expense in de-leading fuel. It was an additive. Additives add costs. Roll Eyes

Because there were pollutants. BUT they haven't been shown to cause ill-health.

Chinese - after rapid gains in the last 3 decades -  have about same life expectancy as US citizens, who are five times as wealthy...

List of the world's most polluted cities:

Shanghai doesn't register on the first page showing 50 cities, most in India, only 3 in China.

And if Shanghai citizens  stop smoking and change to EVs as they are now doing, China's life expentancy will soar past the US.

"Our estimate of the proportion of consensus papers was 1 − (4/2718) = 99.85%."

So 892 papers supported AGW  either explicitly or implicitly although how a paper can support implicitly is beyond me.

And then of course they used only the 4 that explicitly rejected. That meant that the 2104 that took no position were included those that supported AGW. The real result, according to the maths is 32.6%.

False conclusion.

Fossil poisons come in a myriad of varieties.

Quote:

Ok I should have said it cost to ADD it, (to avoid engine pinging iirc) . But then it turned  out lead itself is a pollutant: "Leaded petrol is gone – but lead pollution may linger for a very long time".

You know, the stuff that reduces the IQ of kids in Port Pirie.  (quick google):

"Indeed, according to a 2019 Macquarie University study, some 13 IQ points are lost with every 10μg/dL of lead in the blood. There were nine children in Port Pirie who recorded a blood lead level equal to or exceeding 20μg/dL in the first half of 2021, which was higher than the same period last year.30 Aug 2021"

Gosh... that "2.5" again, , one of a myriad of poisonous fossil-combustion compounds.

That's the job of the EPA authorities.

Yes well, just shows - after all that endless research by thousands of scientists -  how impossibly complicated AGW climate science is.

Verdict: not proven, but probable.

Your choice.

I'll leave the evidence to the scientists.

Plenty of health researchers say PM2.5 are a health hazard.  You choose to differ, probably purely to resist a timely transition to green, since you aren't in a position to carry out the research.

Oh...so the skeptics have proved lead isn't a problem either, like poisonous oxides of nitrogen, sulphur etc etc. The skeptics are obviously well paid stooges, funded by oil cartel-protected  $trillions gouged from the long-suffering public, with disastrous consequence in places like Nigeria and Venezuela, and to a lesser extent everywhere else.

Certainly the fossil-stooge 'researchers' will continue to claim that (as did tobacco 'researchers' decades before).

Problem with everyone being "on the government tit", in the case of the energy sector, which an essential basis of the modern global economy?

You can still  play your competitive "get rich quick" games in the private sector's  'invisible hand' market, for producing non-essential goods and services (preferably not junk...)

If everybody is on the government tit then the energy sector cannot make money. It becomes a drain. So from the installation through to maintenance through to eventual removal. All costs.

Of course, that's why Sir Thomas Playford nationalized the energy sector in SA, so the community could have cheap electricity , rather than supporting the profits of the price-gouging  Adelaide Electricity Company.

BS. the community's industry is based on cheap electricity - with great advantages to all -  because private price gougers can't extort their profits from the community.

No; in the oceans, where plastic pollution is endangering  marine life, and on land where poisonous wastes and deforestation are causing environmental degradation.
