As part of a resolution of the lawsuit announced on November 7th, Trump was ordered to pay $2 million, or $250,000, a piece to eight different charities. Those charities are Army Emergency Relief, the Children’s Aid Society, Citymeals-on-Wheels, Give an Hour, Martha’s Table, the United Negro College Fund, the United Way of National Capital Area, and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Additionally, Trump was forced to reimburse his namesake foundation $11,525 for sports paraphernalia and champagne purchased at a charity gala, which was added to $1,797,598.30 already in the foundation’s bank account. The combined $1,809,123.30 was split evenly and recently transferred to the eight agreed upon charities. Each charity ended up receiving a total of $476,140.41.

Everything you, Paki Khunt, Duckwit et al say about Trump just reinforces everything he stands for, turd.

Stealing money from kids' charities.

It's incorrigible, Greggery, it's almost unbelievable. And are there people in this thread defending him for it?

This is serious. I think we need to get to the bottom of this once and for all. Defending charity fraud?

Our very civilisation may be be stake.

A non politician rides in on his white horse, tramples a Clinton, turns the establishment on its head and kicks the entire medias arse so hard they are still reeling. Legendary stuff right there.

I cant see old Joe achieving any legendary status before he dies, many are saying he is dead already.

NEW YORK – New York Attorney General Letitia James today released the following statement after Donald J. Trump was forced to pay more than $2 million in court-ordered damages to eight different charities for illegally misusing charitable funds at the Trump Foundation for political purposes:

“Not only has the Trump Foundation shut down for its misconduct, but the president has been forced to pay $2 million for misusing charitable funds for his own political gain. Charities are not a means to an end, which is why these damages speak to the president’s abuse of power and represent a victory for not-for-profits that follow the law. Funds have finally gone where they deserve — to eight credible charities. My office will continue to fight for accountability because no one is above the law — not a businessman, not a candidate for office, and not even the president of the United States.”

It is amazing that someone could be so mediocre that they would bounce out of bed in the morning
And devote their day to thinking about trump

I assure you trump is not bouncing out of bed thinking about Gregory

Gregory is basically wasting his time
The same cannot be said for the big fella

Trump was dishonest and corrupt. He was a poor leader in fact not a president at all. He was twice impeached the first for running an extortion ring out of the oval office the second for insurrection.

He both accepted and asked for support from Russia in his election campaigns. He was on side with all the worlds worst actors, all the Authoritarian leaders like himself.

He is the only President to not pass leadership peacefully or with a shred of dignity and in fact attempted insurrection instead.

Trump undermined the constitution and tried to destroy democracy in the USA.

Trump an admitted sexual assaulter and accused paedophile was never a person suitable for public office. Trump governed for Trump.

Trump has been a failure at everything he has ever done including at being the failed President that he was.

Trump is a far away from being a legend as it is possible to get. He is rated in the bottom 3 president for good well deserved reasons.

Donald Trump and a heap of his family and cronies all belong in prison.

America has been in decline since the 60s

Trump was the nation's last-gasp attempt to reduce the size and influence of government
And set people back on the path of self reliance and personal responsibility which made America great in the first place

Trump attempted to break up the pathological establishment
But it was always going to be an impossible miracles pull off

When the population have had it so good for so long
Getting them to break out of the state of infantile responsibility
And break out of the inertia of chode purgatory is nigh on impossible

It seems certain now that the American experiment is over

What will replace it is now the big question
