What was the average age of those dying from Covid-19? Did they die with or from Covid-19? Or, did they die from some other underlying chronic illness(comorbidities)? 27 deaths represents a mortality rate of only 0.7% of the total number of new cases. Or, less than 0.0001% of the total population. Which means, 99.3% of those infected will recover. So, very mild indeed!

You'd probably need to ask the Federal and the States' Health Departments about all that because they're now either:

a) Not providing that information at all.

or...

b) If they are still providing it you can't find it easily.

Makes a mockery of our governments telling us we must now all "use personal responsibility" and "assess our own risks" with Covid when they're no longer providing us with the information to do so - like daily case numbers and where the most cases currently are. That sort of thing.

Mind you, they probably no longer have accurate information because hardly anyone is testing and/or reporting their cases anymore. And no longer isolating if they are positive.

And "recommended", "strongly recommended", "urged", "strongly urged" and "please follow this advice" doesn't cut in today's "I'm alright, Jack and stuff everyone else" society. You only need to look at the minuscule number of people wearing masks now in shopping centres and other indoor places for proof of that.

I certainly agree that some of this information is hard to find. But if you're patient enough, you can find it. I can check these stats on any given day of this pandemic.

Before vaccines, the recovery numbers use to be included with the death and case numbers. This was stopped. After vaccines were introduced, the number of infected unvaccinated was compared to the number of infected vaccinated. This has stopped when more vaccinated people were becoming infected, compared to the number of unvaccinated people. Also, the age, comorbidities, and the specific cause of death was shown. This stopped, and was replaced with "..dying with or from Covid-19". Or, " dying FROM Covid-19 complications". Which is just a smokescreen for any other chronic illness, that has compromised the immune system,

We were told that wearing a mask would prevent you from becoming infected, or infecting others. Now, we're told that this will only reduce the CHANCES of becoming infected or infecting others. The stats clearly debunked the first claim.

We were told that getting vaccinated would prevent us from becoming infected, developing serious symptoms, infecting others, or even dying from Covid-19. Now, we're told that this will only reduce your chances of these things happening.

Here's a test/challenge. How many people in the unvaccinated population who have developed natural immunities, have been reinfected? And, then compare this number to the vaccinated population, who have been reinfected.

This reminds me of when the government in the US telling people, that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and had to be stopped. But when that lie was exposed, they then claimed that Saddam was just a horrible dictator, and had to go. Sheeples!

Another day... all Covid numbers up again in Victoria.

https://covidlive.com.au/

Cases.................. up 3,861.
Hospitalisations... up 70.
ICU.......................up 7.

Deaths..................up 7.

Not a word still from the Prime Minister or any of the State Premiers about Australia reaching the new grim milestone of 16,000 Covid deaths yesterday.

Or condolences offered to the families of the dead.

The fact that none of the State Premiers say anything is a pretty good indication that this unanimous silence from them isn't political, there seems to be more 'sinister' forces at work here.

Meanwhile, Anthony Kardashian is too busy having photos taken with international cricketers and movie stars to be concerned about Covid deaths and hospitalisations.

(Anyone else starting to suspect Anthony is really a robot or android? I mean, he's got that same stupid expression on his face in nearly every single picture he's in.

Might also explain how he's managing to avoid Covid these days despite him never wearing a mask wherever he goes).

DIED SUDDENLY - THE MOVIE.

Healthy adults are dropping dead all across the globe. In the last 18 months, the term “Died Suddenly” has risen to the very top of “most searched” Google terms. Now, the award-winning documentary team that brought you, “Watch The Water”, and “These Little Ones” travels around the world to find answers, and tell the stories, of those who Died Suddenly.

16,014  people have died from Covid in Australia -
dropping like flies -
the vaccines didn't help much -
then the vaccines have killed how many more?

Was the cure worse than the disease?

You just know "Anthony Kardashian" (or "Kovid Kardashian" as I've also seen him called) and the ALP have a bit of a problem on their hands when you hear people say things like "Scott Morrison probably would have done a better job dealing with Covid up until now if the LNP had won the Federal election last May" like I've been hearing from a few people lately.

I'm guessing Anthony's endless photo ops are for his personal album which he'll show to his family and friends in a few years time and say: "That was me during my one and only term as Prime Minister of Australia".

Firstly, unless the Prime Minister is a God, there is absolutely nothing he(or anyone else) can do to stop any virus from infecting anyone. Unless you plan to buy a completely self-contained Hazmat suit, and live indefinitely at the bottom of a pool, this virus can infect you. This virus will simply run its course. Until the more and more people it has infected, become the  more and more people it can't infect(herd immunity). This is how we've treated all the other past viral and bacterial infections. Educate and Treat!

70 people hospitalize, out of 3,861 cases(1.8%)? 7 deaths out of 3,861 cases in all of Australia(0.2%)? This represents well over a 95% survival rate for anyone who has been infected. Not exactly the most lethal of viruses, is it?

I'm sorry that 7 elderly infirmed, over 80yo Australians, have died with/from this virus. Since I don't know what other chronic immunocompromised illness contributed to their deaths, I can't really comment. But, we all have our own "shelf-life". And, I doubt that even the Prime Minister could do much about it when that "shelf-life" runs out.

But 7 death from anything, out of over 26M people does  NOT justify the shutting down of the country, and its economy. It DOESN'T justify turning normal Australians into a cult of walking, talking, mask-wearing, paranoid, germophobic, vaccine junkies. It DOESN'T justify the use of coercion, threats, discrimination, and being forced to choose between a jab or your job. It DOESN'T justify the closures of small and other designated unessential businesses.

It DOESN'T justify fines and arrest for Australians, who refuse to comply with impossible, ineffective, and misleading mandates. It DOESN'T justify border checkpoints, or being forced to acquire ID passports and tracking apps. And, it definitely DOESN'T justify the building of interment camps to imprison people who are the VICTIMS of an illness, or simply as a prudent precaution.

Surely, you are not just another mean-spirited gullible misanthrope. A person who enjoys watching the suffering of others. I would hate to imagine, just how far this government would go, if there really was a more lethal epidemic? Instead of a virus no more lethal than the measles? And our idea of a cure, has done more damage to ourselves, than this virus ever could.

This was just more of the same media fear-mongering theatrics, just to increase their ratings and their viewing audience.

Remember, the only thing that matters from all of your stats, IS THE MORTALITY RATE. How many people are actually dying from this virus? And Why? When you say 3,861 people are infected today, I see 26,113,552 people who are NOT infected today(current pop. is 26,117,413 Australians). Or, only 0.01% of the entire population is infected today. Should we now stop all flights from entering and leaving Australia? Smiley

Another "mild" Covid day in Victoria.

https://covidlive.com.au/

3,840 new cases (and you could probably multiply that by at least 10 to get something closer to the real new cases).

12 more deaths.
2 more in ICU.

But, hey... at least the hospitalisations are down by 6 today so that must be great news, eh, aqua?  Roll Eyes

We now cross over to Queensland and this is some weapons grade BS if ever I saw it.

Queensland quibbles over long COVID details as cases rise

Quote:
Queensland Health says it does not believe there is a high incidence of long COVID in the state, despite experts saying the number of cases will climb.

In its submission to the national inquiry into long COVID, Queensland Health said the state did not have high numbers of long COVID patients because the majority of infections were from the milder Omicron variant and had hit a population that was highly vaccinated against the illness.

The department also said it was moving to “reframe” the term “long COVID” to “Your Recovery from COVID-19”.

Unbelievable.

And, I agree with Dr. Berger - this really could catch on!

I think this could catch on. e.g.

Heart disease - "Your lifestyle recovery"
COPD - "Your exploration of life with an oxygen cylinder"
Diabetes - "Transition to a lower sugar life"

Others have also decided to contribute:

Ok here's my modest contribution to public health:

Palliative care: your journey to another world.
AIDS: a night you'll never forget.
Cancer: your body growing.
Burn injuries: achieving your best cuisson

Ohh I may as well come out and say it :

1. The Covid19 vaccineS have not resolved Covid19 irrespective of the type or number of jabs a person has taken.

2. Continuing to jab yourself with a Covid19 vaccine will ultimately STUFF UP your natural immunity.

3. Learning to LIVE with Covid19 is the NEW NORMAL and no amount of arguing (esp btwn those who love vaccines and those who don't) is going to change that FACT.

4. Masks and hand sanitizers should be used whenever you're exposed to lots of people.

5. Where possible though ... stay home and do your work, study and shopping/paying bills ONLINE. Why? No chance of catching Covid19 AND you will save A LOT of $$$ in petrol (which is still way too expensive).

6. Eat healthy home cooked meals and take supplements in order to boost your body's natural immunity.

7. Wash everything at home thoroughly (kitchen and laundry). I use bleach and that kills germs instantly.
