If you are going to claim that these vaccines are saving millions of lives, then what was saving the millions of lives, BEFORE THESE VACCINES WERE EVER USED?

Are those adverse events just statistical anomalies? Or, just a necessary evil? No shot, no adverse event.

Why can't we just let our immune system just do its job? Its been doing this job for hundreds of thousands of years. It doesn't need any help at all. And, even if we do get sick, we can still be treated.

It's harder than ever to step over the bodies of those who have been killed by the West's horrific pro-infection policies because:

1) the pile has gotten so high

2) long covid makes the exertion nearly impossible and the post-exertion crash unthinkably painful.

On a slightly brighter note I did happen to notice a few more people wearing masks yesterday morning at the local IGA and then later in the day at Maddington Central shopping centre.

Not sure if it was due to the Covid plague ship that was in Fremantle or news is getting around about the XBB variant. Don't know how long it will last but it was good to see.

Looks like COVID-19 still hasn't received the memo that the pandemic is over in Australia.

From Victoria again - the only State still providing daily numbers.

25 more hospitalisations (ditto).
13 more deaths.

Be interesting to see the numbers for the rest of the States when they're released tomorrow.

(And I guarantee the cases are probably 10 or 20 times the number that are reported since most people don't bother testing or reporting their tests anymore).

had been infected with SARS-CoV-2 recently, likely in the past year.

GPs bracing for new COVID-19 wave

Last week, Victorian authorities reported a 25 per cent jump in COVID-19 numbers, while GPs in New South Wales are also being warned that case numbers are likely to rise.

An email sent to New South Wales GPs from primary health networks urged doctors to "prepare for an increase in local COVID-19 cases" and to "ensure patients are up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations".

In a video released on Thursday morning, NSW Chief Health Minister Kerry Chant said the state was "entering the next COVID-19 wave" and it was "likely" cases would rise in the coming weeks.

While the Omicron strains BA.4 and BA.5 continue to be the most-common variants in Australia, their dominance is waning and new variants — such as XBB and BQ1.1 — are now circulating, according to New South Wales health authorities.

It's not completely clear how effective antiviral medications are to these newer variants.

Oh, no. Hope your mother is OK, Greg.

The WA government has just scapped all remaining Covid protections including masks and testing in hospitals from what I've heard.

I believe it's also the same for the rest of Australia (or most of it). Totally insane.

Some of us are trying to work out exactly how does mandatory masks and testing in hospitals affect business and tourism?

Maybe I should take a trip into the city and ask a coffee shop owner (or Basil Zempilas)?
