A disease still killing people around the planet.
Indeed.
But, people like aqua seem to think it's just the elderly who are dying from Covid.
He's wrong, of course. And, if he still claims Covid is weaker than the flu then perhaps he could tell us when was the last time the flu killed several thousand people in Australia during summer and autumn?
I've asked him 3 times in the past 3 days but he still can't/won't give me an answer.
during an average summer/autumn period, about 85,000 australians die.
during this summer autumn period we have had massive numbers of omicron infections.
so a good proportion of those 85,000 who were destined to die , will have covid at around the time of their death.
remember
70 % of deaths in canada were in nursing homes and 65 % of canadians are dead within 1 year of entering a nursing home.
quite obviously, if you are on deaths door, a temperature, sweat, sore throat may be enough to tip you over.
that in no way makes it some horrific disease, as millions of australians are now discovering.
life is back to normal and , probably most people will realise covid was not a big deal.
to those with covid derangement syndrome , they think it is way way way more serious then it is.
they will just have to get used to the truth
no body bags.
no over run ICU units
no mass burials in the park.
i know that disappoints them but it doesnt change the facts
