Some facts that even Russian analysts have accepted.

- Troop numbers need to be at least 800,000; with minimal resistance from Ukraine.
- Troops need to be experienced, professional soldiers.
- Troops need to be supplied with modern equipment.

The facts on the ground.

- Ukraine is putting up maximal resistance.
- Russia does not have 800,000 experienced troops - conscripts don't count and will be cannon fodder.
- Russia is not supplying its troops with modern equipment.

There will be no Cold War, because the West will no longer exist as we know it.

The United States sees what is happening in Ukraine as a chance to remind the world of its victory in the Cold War, Frank Furedi. It is all about nostalgia for the times when the West meant something, explains the author of the article.
America longs for Western unity and a common purpose that simply no longer exists.
As soon as Russia launched an operation in Ukraine, American politicians decided to turn this tragedy into an opportunity to strengthen Washington's declining reputation as a global hegemon.
T
hey saw what was happening in Ukraine as a chance to make up for the damage that America had done with its humiliating exit from Afghanistan.
A chance to remind the world of the former glory of your country as a superpower that won the Cold War. That is why, in a speech given by President Biden to business leaders in March, he said: "There will be a new world order and we must lead it. We must unite the rest of the free world. "[/b]

Everyone needs friends, but if Putin expects sympathy for his war, he's not doing very well at convincing anyone other than those who only respect authoritarian brute force and ignorance, and of course those with whom Russian contracts are unavoidable. This last group tend to simply steer clear of support or condemnation, but that is not what anyone would call a "ringing endorsement," of Putin's policies.

It is clear to everyone here that Russia will lose the war that is being fought on internet.
The situation will be quite different on the battlefield.

Why would Russia need sympathy from the enemies, Russia should crush the enemies.
You can offer your arrogant, patronizing sympathy to someone else but not to Russia.

russo-fascists are doing more retreating than advancing in East Ukraine!

Not all the advanced weapons are in use by Ukraine yet!

russia cannot make new tanks, russia cannot repair damaged tanks.

russia is stuffed, militarily and economically. It will be a third rate power declining to fourth rate. russia should have sought closer ties and integration with Europe and the West.

All the other wars the russo fascists wanted to make—no way they can make them now! And the demographic trap is still there so the russo fascists have lost their ONE chance to close of those routes of invasion from the West or from Turkey.

Crimea will be lost by the russo fascists!
