Concluding with a wonderful insight (paraphrasing):  we must all as individuals follow the golden rule, and then work out how to make it happen collectively.

Yes, the golden rule. Found in all literate cultures throughout recorded history.

And 'All you need is love'.

If, in any given year, we all put a bean in a collective jar whenever we broke that rule, we'd run out of beans and jars in a year.

Proposing stratospherically noble ideals, then reaching them, are why we imagine the divine.

Blair and Clinton, and the US, and anyone else, are not an ICJ.

An ICJ make international law, just as a nation's supreme court makes national law.

Aye - and there is the meat of your defeat...... again....

It Will Never Happen!!  And it is not the  "delusional "sovereign rights" ideology" that is causing this failure - It Is The Rogue Nations Such As Putinist Russia.....

Wrong on all counts, because it IS the the delusion of "sovereign rights"  - over collective well-being - that is preventing the establishment of international law; and all delusions eventually die with those subject to them.

Quote:
How many will die while you play 'my ideology is better than yours'... knowing that yours will never be the way of life on Earth?

Depends on how long your ideology - responsible for the endless wars since the beginning of time -  is the dominant factor in international affairs.

Quote:
Words are cheap - it's the butter on the bagel that counts.... or as the Greeks say - it's the olive oil that makes it easy to get in.......

Indeed words are cheap: Khunt wants me to proclaim Putin is responsible for the Ukraine war, without any ifs or buts (eg my assertion that Putin's invasion is a continuation of the Cold War).

But even if I do proclaim it, the war will continue  on unabated, until one or both sides are ruined,  being just another war in the line of endless wars...with the complication we  are now in the age of MAD.

CCP make ICJ. Put it through the factory  loudspeakers, Great.

Glorious CCP make new international system when China become number one!

America number ten! Yankee running dog imperialist go home!

Only dear Chairman Xi and great CCP will bring dignity to all peoples, father, mother, brother, sister.

Work, hard, comrades. We all make world socialism with Chinese characteristics!

But you won't "call Putin out" if he unilaterally invades a sovereign country.

I'm not defending the invasion. Many posts back I said no-one thought Putin would invade. But I insist on  pointing out the invasion is a continuation of the Cold War, a battle between ideologies.

(Now the flag bearer for collectivism is China, which will prove a much stronger opponent to individualism than the USSR).

Quote:
Something tells me you don't want this secure international law and universal prosperity, Great. You just want China and its proxies as number one.

Explained and refuted above. Universal well-being and security versus global domination by a self-interested  super power.

Quote:
America number ten.

America number whatever -  it doesn't matter; the point is self-interested US global hegemony (or "America First") is impermissible in international  law.

Quote:
You just want to reserve the right for China and its underlings to invade whoever they want. That's why you joined this board - to spread this message.

Refuted above. China invading another country is impermissible in international law.

Quote:
"Sovereign rights" indeed, no?

No, they don't exist in nature, and they are certainly impermissible in international law.

Presuming you’re not an automated propaganda bot you need to understand your ideas and language do no more than manage to make a fool of yourself.
As to World Socialism with Chinese characteristics how do you explain the staggering wealth of senior members of the CCP ‘elite’? Have you by some miracle attended one of the many up-market nightclubs in Peking whose clientele are the children of most of your so called great leaders?

Now you are showing vision, you will be supporting international law much sooner than I expected. Well done.

Collectivism versus individualism: the main dispute revolves around prosperity and security....for whom?

[You want to claim the 'liberal world order' is reducing poverty  at the fastest possible rate, I don't agree because the  richest 'liberal' flag-bearer nation on the planet is content to allow festering chronic poverty ghettos in its midst...not a model worth emulating].

If you can show me prosperity and security for everyone, as per the UN Universal DHR , I will become an individualist.....

You missed my point.

Stratospherically noble ideals cannot be realised, which is why we imagine gods who do.

The Greeks formalised it with the goddess Nemesis who delivered retribution to those who succumb to hubris before the gods. Hubris includes attempting to act out ideals as if you're a god.

The CCP does not reflect even an attempt at realising the golden rule. Its behaviour with debt-trapping nations and its criminal negligence with the pandemic proves that.

My latest  replies to Khunt (whose post you quoted) and Eckhart refute all your assertions, assuming you can comprehend English....

As for the 'staggering' wealth of the CCP elite, the CCP is cracking down on it,  with a re-commitment to common prosperity.

And as for foolishness, I haven't once seen you present your objections to an ICJ, backed by a UNSC minus veto.

Of course your  name is a fraud, you are definitely a follower of Ayn Rand, not Karl Marx.

Meanwhile, while The west is drowning in its stupidity and hatred towards Russia, Algeria and China have signed an agreement
worth 7 billion dollars for the production of fertilizers on the territory of Algeria. The amount will be 5.4 million tons of fertilizers per year.

Just another variation on the Conservative view that war and poverty cannot be eradicated -  false reasoning based on the obsolete notion of scarcity of resources.

The notion of universal above poverty participation in the economy -  definitely achievable - is not "hubris", it's simple justice and morality.

The effort and drive toward common prosperity is indeed a manifestation of the golden rule.

The debt myth is part of your mythology; and China, as in the West,  is currently debating MMT.

And conditions in wet markets are obviously being closely scrutinized in China.

Are you expecting, anytime soon, the CCP to rescue Sri Lanka's failing economy by forgiving its debt?

Grounding flights from Wuhan once the CCP was convinced there was a serious outbreak there, but allowing international flights out of Wuhan, then bleating racism when other nations banned flights from China, is an example of CCP cynicism towards other nations. The CCP's interpretation of the golden rule at the start of the pandemic: 'do unto others that which happened to you'.
