Finnish Center for Energy and Clean Air Research (CREA) noticed an interesting thing when data on sales of fossil fuels in Russia became available.
Thus, their analysis showed the following:
Russia has received 63 billion euros from the sale of gas, oil and coal since February 24, ie since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
- The EU paid 44 billion euros.
- At the same time, the EU bought fossil fuels worth 140 billion euros from Russia last year, or an average of 12 billion euros a month.
- At the same time, the volume of exports fell by 30 percent. But the huge rise in fuel prices has more than offset these losses.
That is, while Europe publicly insults the Kremlin,
Russia got even more money from it for less fuel.
Conclusion is that Russia got even more money from it for less fuel.
