Millions died under Mao due to the great leap backward and then millions more during the cultural devolution, Everyone was affected, except for Mao and his thugs.

Not even the CCP wheels out those giant images of Marx any more.

Outside the showcase Tier 1 cities, China is a dump and wracked with poverty.

Slavery is still practised in China; exploiting rural people who are bussed in to major cities to work in factories under the infamous 996 standard (9:00AM to 9:00PM, 6 days/week) but with no rights to the cities' services as they are not registered as residing in those cities, making them virtual prisoners in dormitories.

So, no Sunday's off to stroll in the park for them.

It wouldn't be safe for rural women anyway. There's a high chance many would be abducted and trafficked.

Notice how the evil, totally irrational, "freedom"/ "individual sovereign rights" ideologue  has absolutely no insight into the human condition, so he is only capable of seeing the fault in the other side.

I wonder what the enslaved rural Chinese think about their human condition when they're bussed in to Tier 1 and 2 cities, to work in factories 996 with no possibility of experiencing life free to explore the cities' 'paradises' like all those white monkeys make youtube videos about.

Ladies and gentlemen...confirming the total lack of insight revealed by this  deluded  "freedom"/ individual rights" ideologue who insists on the "right" to make war.

More the right for people to be treated like humans and not enslaved or shackled like a pig.

Keep digging: no insight.; the UNSC veto - defended by you by insisting on the "right" to make war -  is a license to murder,  maintaining the "right" to slaughter children deemed by you not to conform to your own self-interest. Sheer irrationality and evil.

And you are bleating about "slavery", to avoid seeing the evil of your own delusional ideology.

Am I now? And you call yourself a Marxist!

It was these exact conditions of Chinese slave labour once experienced by the British working class in the 19th century that shocked Marx and Engels into developing their concept of a remedy known to us as totalitarian socialism.

Fortunately, it didn't take root in Britain.

Unfortunately, it took root in the east where Lenin, Stalin, Mao and a host of others who would-be-if-they-could-be, totalitarian dictators, discovered that communism gave them the 'how' they needed.

So, keep making a hypocrite of yourself, (or is that a prostitute) for the CCP.

The US is now all in.

The US now intends to aid Ukrainians in their campaign to expel Russia entirely from Ukraine, including from Crimea.

NATO and Europe will soon follow.

India, having seen images from Bucha, has now resolved to condemn Russia for its war of aggression and appears prepared to forgo Putin's offer of cheap gas and oil in favour of joining the massive world support for Ukraine.

The CCP must decide now whether it will continue with yet another catastrophic mistake, or break from its long tradition of making them, and support the war effort to expel Russia from Ukraine.

It seems Putin has achieved what I predicted - the world is waking up and the history of appeasement will not be forgotten .. the West and The Rest are all working out that tyranny and invasion is just not on - take heed, CCP.  You're next.

What does St Penny have to say about that?  We don't want career politicians or small special interest group politicians - we want the ones who work for all and do so for the love of the job - not the perks.

Putin promoted Chechen leader Kadyrov to lieutenant general

Ramzan Kadyrov was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general. General Kadyrov has promised to continue the operation against NATO mercenaries.

You are bleating about the "slavery" of the Chinese people, while at the same you are claiming the "right" to wage war, to 'defend' your irrational "freedom" ideology  - irrational because "rights" don't exist in nature, they have to be invented by men, and the "right" you insist on ie to wage war - is the ultimate destroyer of life, because all nation's have their own point of view....never mind the ongoing slaughter of children in all wars.

And I don't know what that has to do with whether I claim to be Marxist or not.

Yes, but Leninism/Stalinism was NOT envisioned by Marx.

Quote:
Fortunately, it didn't take root in Britain.

But 'socialism' did after WW2, eg, in the NHS.

Ok, I'll let that paragraph  stand, for the sake of the argument. But the CCP is evolving rapidly into a one-party meritocracy, despite your desperate ideological narratives attempting to prove otherwise.

Quote:

See, bleating about the "slavery" of the Chinese people, while claiming the "right" to wage war - which makes you complicit in the savagery in Ukraine.

Waste of time explaining to blind ideologues, but the vestigial human reptilian brain - seat of nature's unconscious survival instincts honed over eons, manifests itself in the aggregate in our governments demanding the "right" to wage war.

Like you, she lacks the insight to understand we are all responsible for the savagery of war, so long as the UNSC veto stands - as a manifestation of irrationality and insanity: in effect, "freedom" is more important than life , (insanity, anyone?)  as the casualties in Yemen, Syria and Ukraine are discovering moments before they become "collateral damage" ... your crocodile tears for all the maimed children are sickening.

Borders don’t exist in nature and are invented by men. Would the CCP allow Tibet, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Hong Kong to separate from China? Or would it claim the right to wage war on them as it does with Taiwan? Or arrogate to itself the right to commit atrocities on civilians as it does in Xinjiang?
Nations are human inventions, or does China not really exist?

The CCP arbitrarily slaughters and disappears those it calls its own citizens; as we’ve seen many times now through the hundreds of leaked videos from the CCP’s hellhole.

I can see through your doublespeak on ‘sovereign’ and ‘freedom’. You’re not really referring to individuals (a term you use less and less). You’re referring to ethnicities within China having no sovereign rights, or rights to freedom from the CCP, other than the CCP’s perversion of Han Chinese ethnic sovereign rights, in the name of whom it claims the freedom to take whatever it wants from whomever it wants.

Marx and Engels were both driven to propose communism as a direct result of witnessing the slavery of the British working class in the 19th century. You, on the other hand, prefer to think of the slavery of some as an artifact of the human condition.

Quote:
Leninism/Stalinism was NOT envisioned by Marx

And yet Leninism / Stalinism / Maoism were the inevitable catastrophes of communism that the last 100+ years have proved.

Quote:
But 'socialism' did after WW2, eg, in the NHS.

Democratic socialism is not totalitarian socialism.

Quote:
Ok, I'll let that paragraph stand, for the sake of the argument. But the CCP is evolving rapidly into a one-party meritocracy, despite your desperate ideological narratives attempting to prove otherwise.

The CCP is currently rapidly devolving back to a Maoist totalitarian dictatorship, which was no different from the dynastic rule of China’s mad emperors.

Putin is trying to pull off the same devolution in Ukraine, which will soon see him removed from power.

Autocratic rule cannot allow meritocracy; there’s always the chance the meritocrat might disrupt the otherwise unchallengeable hierarchy. The CCP is more a kleptocratic / oligarchical, nepotistic autocracy, just a continuation of the old Chinese imperial dynasties with fewer silk robes and ponytails.

But then, you’re a prostitute to the CCP so, while servicing your masters, it’s probably best for you to just lie back and think of the party.

You can always see when the propaganda machinery is in full desperation mode...

First, Russia invades Ukraine - some Westerners volunteer to help Ukraine by coming over to fight for it... now the 'campaign' isn't about invading Ukraine on the assumption it was weak and would fall in two days - but is about fighting NATO mercenaries!!

As mothra would say - so many absurdities there ...

Well - NATO doesn't have mercenaries.... these are private citizens driven by the injustice of a more powerful country invading a weaker one.... who feel they can do some good... if NATO were involved the Russians would be home all the way to Siberia... but watch that space if this madness continues.. remember that sleeping giant prediction?

Where's divide's international peacekeeping force that will impose peace by using war?

Nowhere to be seen.....

Soooo... what part did the UNSC veto play in Russia invading Ukraine?

If you want the savagery of war to cease, you must stop supporting those who use it.... I'm not responsible for Russia invading Ukraine and accept no such responsibility... only a free person can make that decision for him or her self.

Your nonsensical comment about 'crocodile tears for all the maimed children' is just that - nonsense.

What is YOUR immediate proposal to end the fighting in Ukraine, Yemen and Syria?  How do you feel about the Israelis killed in recent attacks?  What about China and the idea of taking over Taiwan?

National sovereignty - which protects China from the return from its ruling elite's actions - prevents the West from intervening in internal matters in Yemen and Syria.

Slow learner, eh?  You think the West should just shoulder its way in and take control of the situation, using armed force to cut down on the warlike activities there...

Madness - pure madness... if the Syrios and the Yemenis want to kill one another and other Arabs etc - who are we to intervene? It's not like they're doing much of a job at keeping the peace themselves...

The British fought in Yemen in the 1970's... your kind called it neo-colonialism then and the Old World trying to impose its worn-out status quo - so now you're 180 degrees opposite?  Britain withdrew from East of Suez many years ago post colonialism - now you want the West, including Britain, to intervene any time there is a problem?

Might will make it right, eh?  The West should just go in there and kill all the bad guys and give freedom and prosperity to the Syrians and Yemenis....
