Millions died under Mao due to the great leap backward and then millions more during the cultural devolution, Everyone was affected, except for Mao and his thugs.
Not even the CCP wheels out those giant images of Marx any more.
Outside the showcase Tier 1 cities, China is a dump and wracked with poverty.
Slavery is still practised in China; exploiting rural people who are bussed in to major cities to work in factories under the infamous 996 standard (9:00AM to 9:00PM, 6 days/week) but with no rights to the cities' services as they are not registered as residing in those cities, making them virtual prisoners in dormitories.
So, no Sunday's off to stroll in the park for them.
It wouldn't be safe for rural women anyway. There's a high chance many would be abducted and trafficked.
Notice how the
evil, totally irrational, "freedom"/ "individual sovereign rights" ideologue has
absolutely no insight into the human condition, so he is only capable of seeing the fault in the other side.
Yesterday Zelensky said the UNSC veto was "
a licence to commit murder, and he is of course correct; but his solution (also of course) was to eject Russia from the UNSC, rather than eject the veto......
All because these delusional and hence irrational "freedom" ideologues insist on preserving the UNSC veto, so they can have the "right" to make "legal" war, owing to their lack of any insight re the effect of unconscious survival instincts....which makes murderous neanderthals out of all of them.
But of course its all the CCP's fault; if they go away, the world will be all peace and prosperity.....despite the fact half the globe is on the verge of economic collapse, largely caused by US led neoliberalism, and US stooges like the IMF, and World Bank established since 1946.
Speaking of which:
https://ellenbrown.com/2022/04/05/the-coming-global-financial-revolution-russia-...Russia had remained too enthralled by free-market ideology to take steps to protect its own agriculture or industry. The United States provided the help that was needed by imposing domestic self-reliance on Russia (via sanctions). When the Baltic states lost the Russian market for cheese and other farm products, Russia quickly created its own cheese and dairy sector – while becoming the world’s leading grain exporter.
Russia is discovering (or is on the verge of discovering) that it does not need U.S. dollars as backing for the ruble’s exchange rate. Its central bank can create the rubles needed to pay domestic wages and finance capital formation. The U.S. confiscations thus may finally lead Russia to end neoliberal monetary philosophy, as Sergei Glaziev has long been advocating in favor of MMT [Modern Monetary Theory].
What foreign countries have not done for themselves – replacing the IMF, World Bank and other arms of U.S. diplomacy – American politicians are forcing them to do. Instead of European, Near Eastern and Global South countries breaking away out of their own calculation of their long-term economic interests, America is driving them away, as it has done with Russia and China.
