So - after all that - you can argue that in the Western Australian forum here - let's get back to the meat here - Ukraine, Russia, Putin ........... b3fore you go there - HERE!!

https://www.indigenousjustice.gov.au/wp-content/uploads/mp/files/publications/fi...

WTF has Putin's illegal invasion of Ukraine got to do with alleged discrimination against Aborigines in Western Australia?

In which competition in free markets relegates the least competitive to the status of beggars....and history will have to repeat itself  all over again, in Russia....

It is the west that enjoys multinational solidarity and the CCP knows it.

No one wants the CCP's system of government.

This purge of totalitarianism does not stop with Ukraine.

You completely ignored the post to which you imagined you were replying.  Multinational solidarity is worthless if the lead nation is decaying within itself, owing to its fake FIRE economy.

The CCP is now considered a Putin collaborator.

And Japan is watching. All those years of the CCP's fueling murderous hate for the Japanese. Not good.

Your blind "sovereign rights" delusion renders you incapable of replying to the matter raised.

I refer you back to post #122.

Funny thing - human nature rejects being pushed around.... I refer you to the hallmark book, 'Intervention and Revolution' which gives reason why people will revolt.

Hopefully the CCP is learning about the idiocy of war, and follows its own path to prosperity:

"Moreover, a great strategy has been raised by Xi; a so-called fresh, brand-new mode of public governance has been experimented, and a new world order is emerging. It is argued that those who will be alive around 2050 will witness the rise of China to an unprecedented level. More fundamentally, Xi emphasizes meritocracy and would like to apply it to every corner of public governance in China. A question arises naturally: whether meritocracy, which the Chinese views as a tradition and may be regenerated by the Xi regime, can enlighten public governance in China and beyond"?

Russia will remain as a nation, after this war.

And climate change, poverty eradication, and sustainable economic development will remain key issues.

Your 'right to rule'  will increasingly be seen as an irrelevance, a distraction from the real task facing humanity.

No one takes the CCP seriously on any matter; social, political, cultural or climate change.

What the CCP does excel at is making catastrophic mistakes.

From self-created famines, to cultural self-genocide, to social 'experiments' (i.e. the one-child policy), to rampant promotion of get-rich-quick-ism without appropriate controls against corruption, to protecting Kim Jong-Un's regime (despite the fact that Koreans hate the Chinese), to the promoting of hatred among the Chinese towards all its neighbours throughout the region, to criminal negligence with a virus outbreak, to needling its neighbours in an attempt to provoke their military overreaction, to backing a dictator in a genocidal war...

But it's precisely what happens within totalitarian regimes.

Putin's ultimate fate (echoing the steady creep of paranoia that infected all totalitarians who have gone before him) is a pre-run for the CCP's collapse.

And what a mess the Chinese people will discover is left behind to be cleaned up.

What, the Ukraine's right to exist?

Every member here supports China's "sovereign rights". Before I read your posts, I had some sympathy for China's right to Taiwan too.

Not anymore. If this is how you view the world, I'm out. You've lost us.

I hope your views are a minority in China. I'm not sure who's worse - mindless bots like Athos, or those who feign moral superiority like yourself.

Your views have woken plenty of people here up. Now, at least, we know.

We won't have to have this debate when it's crunch time.

My latest thought on the war:

It's time the Ukrainians cut off all: fuel, food and ammo to the Russians -
then surround them and either kill them or take them as prisoners -
then use them as slave labor to help rebuild Ukraine.
Don't let them go back to Russia to have another go later.

I like the slave labor idea even it it’s totally impractical but how are the Ukranians going to "cut off all: fuel, food and ammo to the Russians " when the flow isn’t in that direction ?

The Russians drive all the :fuel, food and ammo in
trucks that cross the borders of Ukraine from Russia.
They then drive down the road to the outskirts of Kiev.
They are being targeted as we speak.
Hopefully that strategy will work.

Popular Finnish opinion towards joining NATO has risen dramatically.

Over the last month, public opinion to join NATO has risen to nearly 65% and so Finland's membership application is almost certain over the next few months.

Ironically, Putin will go down in history as single-handedly having not only justified NATO existence in the 21st century, proved its respective partners' solidarity and was the catalyst for its extension.

U.S. Announces It Will Allow Ukrainian Refugees After Deporting 100,000 Central Americans Seeking Asylum
[/url]

“Even now, agents from the Department of Homeland Security have begun to raid homes, workplaces, and houses of worship for undocumented immigrants, who will be immediately flown back to Honduras or wherever they come from. We will welcome Ukrainians escaping the violence with the warm bed just vacated by some Hispanic guy we captured and sent back to Mexico. It is important in this tragic moment that we support European—and only European—refugees and asylum-seekers.” Biden added that the United States reserved the right to deport the Ukrainian refugees if asylum-seekers from a more Western country came along.

How does it all end?

That's easy! Take a look at some of the recipes cooked up by a familiar lady called Modern History.

1. Take a little bit of conventional weaponry
2. Mix that with chemical and nuclear weaponry
3. Sprinkle a bit of Covid19 to enhance the result.

Results?

1. Holocaust ( merely collateral damage so meh  )
2. Restructuring of global multi national corporations ( so as to reconfigure the current power status on the globe )
3. ---> Global oligarch individual reshuffle means less people in that "cabinet" who get a larger slice of the same sized pie
4. Key advances in Technology (chemical and nuclear testing on plants, animals and people has provided science with an opportunity to research the effects on the living)

Inflation and the war in Ukraine, in addition to the prices of gas and electricity,
lead to an increase in the prices of flour, cereals and corn in Italy up to 13 times.
The price of bread is 5.31 - 10 euros per kilogram which is a record gathering in Italy.
