Two reasons:
1. It is not for Admirals to hold forth about things that they have no expertise in - like climate science, gender, etc.
2. These are POLITICAL matters, and therefore NOT for serving ADF personnel to publicly take a political position on.

1. everyone is allowed an opinion on climate change. That they are admirals does not remove them from society at large.

What's with all the Union/Industry super fund bagging?

They consistently out perform private sector funds hands down.

All the kerfuffle by conservatives about Industry Super funds fees that are charged being used to support Unions & the Labor Party is just petty jealousies because fact is Private sector funds charge much higher fees & return less to members.

The biggest thieves in the country are the Big 4 banks & AMP & co.

And they want to get their grubby mitts on the Super pot in Industry/Union funds.

They & the Morrison govt who want to give them control of all Super funds can get stuffed.

BUT it is used as a political football, The IPCC itself says that RCP8.5 and SSP8.5 are most unlikely and yet there reports are dominated by RCP8.5 SSP8.5 scenarios. According to CO2 theory the effect of increasing CO2 is a logarithmically decreasing effect. They can't even bring down the postulated effect after more than 40 years of "climate science".

So you don't know that it was Labor who politicised it under Ste Julia with the "carbon tax"? What was it supposed to do? Australia as shown by China's TANSat, Japan's GOSAT and NASA's OCO is a carbon sink. That makes a carbon tax political. It makes "net zero" political.
