Oh it does rain. Especially this 'wet' year. But most years - it's a barren wasteland of farming efforts, while the rain just falls around the region where there are trees.

Even when I lived in the Riverina. It rained mostly and heavily along waterways and tree areas - which were also along waterways, both man-made and natural.

Simple Maths. Want more rain? Have more trees.

Silly white man should stick to politics, doesn't know squat about 'the land', unless he gets a uni-degree - but 95% of all farmers aren't 'academic' when it comes to farming, eh.
