In the Beginning
Feb 6th, 2022 at 8:37pm

Sorry Sprintcyclist and Yadda, but your Religions have got it all wrong (lie!).

In the beginning there was no darkness and then God created Light.
In the beginning there was 7 hundred trillion Celcius of Light as the Universe exploded and then expanded and cooled to the point where we are to allow dark matter and space 'clarify' to be seen beyond the brightness of heat. The universe will eventually expand so much, they in billions of years from now - we, where we are, will see only darkness, because all other galaxies will have moved beyond our 'visible' limits because 'Space moves faster than light'.

Where did the '7 hundred trillion Celcius of Light' of light come from?

That's how hot the Universe was when it began after the Big Bang. It's been cooling and expanding (with acceleration) ever since. Go back 10 billion years and our view of the sky would be very bright indeed.

Yeah, yeah... but the Big Bang Theory is just that... a theory - unproved... like Darwin's Theory...

And it can't be proved.

Not that I'm religious...

Not that I'm religious...

It's proven by the mapping of the Universe and the direction, acceleration of the massive Galaxy clusters.
Soon, the nearest Galaxies will have moved so far away, that we will see only a sky of darkness, for their acceleration will move faster than the light they emit.

I used to read up about Space. It is totally amazing.
Thanks for that info, feel free to tell me more.
It's just amazing, I guess if they are moving in one direction, and us in the other ......
Still, it's pretty fast

Heaven?
Well if you look at the Northern Hemisphere (Heaven),
compared to the Southern (Hell/Down Under/etc) where 'criminals' go.
The Nuke War and outcome would show that HEAVEN IS VERY OVER-RATED.

Yes. That's something the naive atheist does not factor in.

They ask the question, 'what happened before the big bang?' without considering the terms they use.

What does 'before' mean if time did not exist until the big bang?

.. all was void and dark.... and lo, the darkness moved upon the waters.....

Waters?  HTF were there waters if all was void and dark?  How was there darkness?  FFS - you need to compare darkness with light - a not uncommon experience here at OzPol.... before you can determine which is which...

All relative, innit?
