NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet says it is time to "stand tall" in the face of rising COVID-19 infections, with the state recording 2,566 new cases.

Key points:

The NSW Premier says ICU presentations are the "key metric"
More than 57,000 booster shots were given across the state last week
Brad Hazzard has responded to calls to reinstate masks and QR code mandates

It is the highest tally of daily coronavirus cases in Australia, increasing from the 2,482 cases announced yesterday.

Victoria has recorded 1,240 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths, as the number of Omicron infections in the state grows to 24.
Key points:

There are 13,093 active cases of COVID-19 in Victoria
A cluster of 47 COVID cases in two schools has emerged from a school camp in South Gippsland
Epidemiologist Nancy Baxter is warning authorities are not treating Omicron with enough caution

The death toll for the current outbreak is 635, and there are 13,093 active cases of coronavirus in the state.

There are 392 people in hospital with COVID-19, of whom 81 are in intensive care and 41 are on a ventilator.

A further 37 cases remain in intensive care but have been cleared of COVID.

Yesterday 76,033 COVID tests were done across the state.

Those Anti-Vax, Anti-Lockdown demonstrators were condemned by ScoMo via his Media performance over the table. But under the table he rubbed his hands with glee and probably paid them to do it - so he could end the Team Premier reign and let the Virus in.

Time to slam close the shutters, bolt the doors and take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY of Lock Down and Lock Out the deadly Plague of Corona in all of its scientifically labelled variants and mutations.

Lucky I live in a nice 'private' camping spot, beside a crystal clear creek of fresh water. My 'glamp' Tenting complex is like that of a Sheikhs 'Harem'. I only have to travel an hour back into civilisation where I wear my deep-sea commercial diving outfit.

I know many locals who are locking themselves away from all the infected city tourists coming to spread ScoMo's virus and plague.
