Younger kids love gold coins. They seem to love $1 and $2 coins because they shine. (If they're really young like about 2 to 3 they will prefer the bigger $1 coin lol).

Older kids love a fresh $50 note inside their Xmas cards. That way they can spend it on whatever they want.

NB Our kids get more money when their birthday comes round (a grand each .... straight into their bank account).

IF your question relates to GRAND children then I'm afraid I have no idea because I don't have any.

If I did I'd probably give them a few scratchies each depending on number of grandkids and how much money I had allocated for them. Kids love to scratch to see if they've won a prize.

Be careful though....some kids hate not winning anything lol.

All my kids are grown, the youngest is 28.

My grandchildren range from 8 to 21.

For most, a gift card is the best gift, they like buying what they want.

The youngest is into fossils
So we got him a couple for Xmas, not cheap, but will be appreciated.

Just asked my eldest and he reckons you're looking at over $500 for anything half decent.

He also mentioned JB HiFi.

Edit : Dear God there's one there for over 4K.

I shouldn't have asked him. He probably thinks he's getting one now 😩

I bought a couple bags of chocolate during my groceries, yesterday. A milkybar assortments bag for $3.50. And some other confectionary for $3. Compared to when I was a child, this is a bargain price.

I love walking through Shopping Centres and saying the odd
"Bah Humbug!"
occassionally like a bird cry - as I often get others repeating the same words from afar. Grin Cheesy
