This especially: ....disaster like the one that took place at Chernobyl in northern Ukraine in 1986, when a reactor exploded and contaminated a vast area that remains unsafe to live in. and the rest of the article shows utter ignorance of how a nuclear power plant operates. Putin is getting desperate. That makes him even more dangerous. He is backing himself into a corner with his not so veiled threat to use nuclear weapons and may be tempted to lash out. The west can't afford to show weakness now, no matter how much more belligerence he shows.
On the positive side there are growing anti-war demonstrations happening in Russia and there is a slim possibility that if Putin does not show restraint then a coup may be on the cards......Interesting times.

Interesting interview today on "The World Today" on RN with a Russian military commentator. He declared the Vlad's nuclear threats are really just that 'cause there really aren't any targets big enough to justify the use of nukes on in Ukraine. If true, it just shows how hollow Vlad is. Roll Eyes
