Well his reputation isn't all that rosy, it can't be tarnished anymore than it already is

Great! Let's go for an election right now!    Who do you think would win?      We could elect a recycled Lib Leader who allegedly dines with Mafia figures at "The Lobster Cave"

Nah - Dan is more popular than ever.  The polls show it and he is way in front of anything the Libs have. He will piddle it in!

Libs at the Lobster Part 1

"Mr Guy says he did not know Mr Madafferi, a successful market garden and pizza chain owner, would be at the Lobster Cave dinner until he arrived.

He insists the dinner meeting was to discuss fruit and vegetable markets and not political donations.

However leaked phone calls made by Liberal figure Barrie MacMillan suggest the meeting was designed to direct donations to the cash-strapped party.

On Thursday Mr Guy said he had a "keen interest" in political donation reform and would be happy to debate it."

It's more than tarnished it's got holes in it and as far as reputation goes on another front lets not forget his traitorous BRI agreement with China that needed to be torn up for him.

You mean the one Morrison was all clucky about before he soured relations?

"Prime Minister Scott Morrison himself also stated in an interview with a Chinese magazine in November 2018 that

Australia welcomes the contribution the Belt and Road Initiative can make in meeting the infrastructure needs of the region, and we’re keen to strengthen engagement with China in regional trade and infrastructure developments that align within the international standards of governance and transparency."

Times have changed dramatically since 2018 and if you look at your link you will see why, Dan is a persistent traitor and should hung out to dry, from a lamp post.

Of course things have changed.  We have an inept, corrupt and useless federal government that have damaged, possibly irretrievably, our relationship with many important countries, and we are wearing the fallout.    There was nothing fundamentally wrong with the concept, as long as safeguards were in place.      If Dan is a persistent traitor, why hasn’t any Federal or State body proven it?  What actual charges could stick in court?   I am all for enforcing the law against any pollie but I can’t see any thing treacherous against him.  Now the Vic Libs, there is a bunch of traitors and leeches if ever I could see!

He's travelling FINE among Victorians - in Victoria

'The right' have ALWAYS wanted to punish him (ah lah, the "Get Bill Campaign") for showing up their OWN failures and shortcomings

But the Liberal's "Get Dan Campaign" - under the management of Peta Credlin - just can't seem to grow any wheels

Support for the Andrews Government is down - three points - since the last election, but still commanding a strong, winning lead
Those three points haven't gone Liberal- but to the "Don't Know Party"
"
Andrews' preferred leader status remains unchanged and strong

Recycling a complete "drongo" - and former abyssmal, one-term Baillieu Government minister, as leader hasn't given the Liberals any 'brownie points'

Hotel quarantine in Victoria was - as with every other state - always destined to SOME degree of failure

But as the Federal Government discarded all of what was their responsability, under law - it was left to the states to 'step up to the plate'

As the months went by it became apparent how little was known about how this virus  travelled and was transmitted

Hotel rooms were confirmed to be TOTALLY inadequate,
but were the best - and only - option available

But -
security guards trading sexual intercourse with
possibly Covid infected guests in exchange for allowing
them outside to have a cigarette?

One guest was even allowed to go shopping because
she was so good in bed.

Looks like the whole court case is set up so
Dan and any other person will get off Scott free.
The charges are against the Govt. Dept not against any person.

Andrews and his ministers ‘should be facing justice’
over charges against Vic health department

Premier Daniel Andrews and his ministers are the ones who should be “facing justice”
over the charges laid by WorkSafe against the Victorian Department of Health, according to Opposition Leader Matthew Guy.

The Victorian health department has been charged with 58 breaches of the Occupational Health and Safety Act over the Andrews government's hotel quarantine program.

Each of the charges carries a fine of up to $1.6 million.

Mr Guy told Sky News host Peta Credlin the situation is a "complete farce".

"What we have is a government statutory authority charging a government department for ministers' decisions," he said.

"The taxpayer will pay the fine."

The Victorian Opposition Leader said "the buck stops" with Premier Andrews and his ministers.

"They are the people who should be facing justice, not the Department of Health," Mr Guy said.

"There is no accountability left in the state of Victoria.

"The Premier should have resigned a long time ago; his ministers, a number of involved, should have resigned a long time ago."

Keep in mind that this entire fiasco could have been avoided if the State Premiers had just told Scotty from Marketing and the Federal government last year that they were not going to use their States' inner city hotels for quarantine purposes.

The hotels wouldn't have been happy with missing out on all those quarantine $$$$ but hey, they wouldn't have been the only ones suffering financially during the pandemic... "we're all in this together", you know. Roll Eyes

Then the Federal government would have had to do the job which they should have been responsible for in the first place - providing proper quarantine facilities away from the major population centres which would have avoided the major Covid outbreaks which we're now seeing in New South Wales and Victoria (and soon to be followed by Queensland by the look of things - but not until after the NRL Grand Final this weekend, of course).

Why is what we're seeing under Covid lockdowns
any different to communist China?
Both major parties are doing it.
