It sure is.

Not allowing children to go to school and flourish is a much bigger disaster
Please stop the selfishness

They can (and do) learn and flourish at home.

I'd say it would depend on the child and parent, some children would flourish at home in home schooling, some wouldn't

But children need to be with their peers to develop social intelligence

You will literally be producing huge numbers of children with separation anxiety and social phobia if they spend too much time at home

Whilst there does seem to be some fear about this, parents can help with using emotional stories and getting kids to interact once the lockdowns are over.

It is

The swedes are kicking back having a beer enjoying freedom and liberty

The western Australians are signing up for a hermit like existence in perpetuity

In a few hundred years anthropologists will visit western Australia
And document this quaint backward tribe for whom time stood still

And let's not forget Sweden had just over 12000 deaths
And is now getting less than 1 death per week

We should also end up with the same number
We will just torture ourselves getting there

The Libs could have and should have done better than they have but considering that their priority is profit they have done a lot better than expected.

Is that only your opinion, or is everyone saying that?

If what they've done is the best they can do, pity help their proficiency at making profits. That's why they became politicians, couldn't make profits so opted for a regular salary courtesy of the taxpayer, even voting themselves a rise now and then

I say this because the lock downs are 100% against their nature. They could easily have copied the USA and Trumps disaster. This they clearly have done better than.

We would have had at least 80,000 dead had they copied the Trump method and followed their natural tendencies.

correct.

the conservative believes in living life in a spirit of contribution and responsibility, he sees himself as an adult. he does not see his life as immortal, he is not the centre of his own universe.

Yeah, the Libs contributed by letting Covid in via Mascot Airport. That was very responsible of them wasn't it?

Now, they're telling us we don't have any freedom, and we won't have any until they decide we can have it ... how's that for "freedom loving" conservatives? telling us that. Who in the damn world do they think they are?

They're only pseudo Stalinist lefties, they joined the left, and take advantage of every tax dollar they can get their hands on. They wouldn't have a clue what it means to be "free" and "individualistic" anymore. Like the Labs, they just treat us as a herd and percentages ...... Hey! I'm Citizen Percentage, I live in Australia, good for me

Cumberland and Canterbury/Bankstown LGAs are still the worst and each have over 3,000 cases. Blacktown now has over 2,000

So much for multiculturalism and multi language .... you Libs and Labs simply won't learn will you?

Yep, that's what it's about, they've caused all this Covid trouble since it started, right from Jan 2020 when Chinese in Waverly returned from China, to ethnics in Southwest Sydney failing to understand English, to an infected ethnic traveling to Dubbo, and look at Dubbo now, 453 cases when there was none several weeks ago. They're spreading Covid all round, even to Aboriginal communities
