Why bother with these anecdotal experiences when what’s really required is careful analysis of so called ‘holy books’. Those who argue the evils or blessings of various religions, for reasons they are probably unaware of, have little if any familiarity with the nasty tomes and their various mistranslations they avoid criticising in detail. Why?
OK. there’s been more direct quotation on this thread from the Koran by some but those claiming it to be a ‘holy book’ avoid doing so. As to any close analysis of the contradictions, evils and mistranslations of the Bible few if any dare go there. Why? Fear of divine retribution or sickeningly misguided political correctness?

As to the claim ’There are no ordinary Muslims’ why is it these ’not ordinary’ muslims never analyse or criticise the contents of the Koran?

As for your Muzzlum associates, why not ask them what they are doing to moderate Islam's fanatically violent interpretations? My guess is they are not really Muzzlums, when it comes down to it. What are called apostates by Koran-thumpers, and are regularly murdered in places like the Pakistan etc. But many run away and hide in Western countries. We are about to receive a fresh batch from Afghanistan.

Then the insidious theology of the bible has escaped you if you think there’s nothing peculiar about a father who tortures his own son on the cross to ‘atone’ for sins he made possible in the first place. Consider also the too common imagery of the crucifixion; an almost naked man nailed to a cross as a focus of worship.
Given we’re asked to swallow the idiocy of trinitarian theology asserting the Christ on the cross is in some weird way actually part of the ’Trinity’, another riddle implicit in this nauseating, guilt inducing sado-masochist story lurches forward.
