Cut the cr2p, no one needs to be Perry Mason to recognise that you did committ assault since your immediate welfare was not at risk in the incident as you described. As you relate you were not defending  yourself which as you should know means your only possible defense in a court room is gone. Zero dispute that given the circumstances of the incident as you
described you would be pleading guilty to assault and in all probability a short jail term due to the act being committed on a child. Magistrates generally dont like child abusers.
