You'll find most of us with any mind despise neo-liberalism and all it does and portends - thing is, we weren't planning to destroy the culture in which we live in order to save it from itself, and while I, for one oppose with might and main every chicanery of our modern governance, and even while that may make me an Enemy of The State in standing for the people first before state - this does not mean I am an enemy of my nation.

It's a fine point... I'm happy to be an Enemy of The State as long as it saves my nation and its people from that State.

Chinkophiles, on the other hand, want to bring it all down so they can feast among the ruins... pretty dumb if you ask me and incredibly arrogant and naive.  Like the rabid feminist talibans, once you wreck the whole joint, there is nothing in the ruins to feed off...

Believe or not but this is the President of the United states, and the media just let's him get away with it. NO ACCOUNTABILITY AT ALL.
The only time Biden comes alive is when he spots young girls. Other times, he doesn't know where he is or what he's doing there.

Traveling down from Port Mack t'other day, and saw a sign that said "Jericho Road" - instantly thought that was a great title for a book about the way the road we are being driven down unwillingly by governments of sellouts will inevitably lead to them walls come-a tumblin' down...

Jericho Road - under tons of masonry no-one can hear you scream.....

There is also a historical precedent - post WW II Japan and Germany established a solid industrial base, with aid - but principally because their old and worn-out and out-moded technology was bombed flat and then re-built.

I've said before that given the proper impetus - which looks like it is looming on the horizon - the West will re-tool with even more modern technology and will again establish itself as the pre-eminent industrial group on Earth.  Dominance in industrial strength gives a solid base from which all else flows - playing at being a 'service provider' - money mover and such (LMAO) - can never compensate for carrying on those activities WITH a strong industrial base.

That strong industrial base also gives physical national security in the event of world troubles - though the 'reasoning' of the governments of the West today may be that the possibility of nuclear strike renders such strength irrelevant.

I, of course, beg to differ - none but a total fool would strike at a strong industrial based nation.

Also this is partly behind my development of the GAIA concept - of industry based on top of the resources over West, and with new and totally modern technology right through the city that would develop.  Some are coming on board with this idea with the mooting of a trans-continental railway line to carry Galilee Basin coal to the Pilbara... they're catching on.

Since anywhere can be struck in an attack it does not matter where you place it..... so right on top of the resources is as good as anywhere else... and again - only a fool would actually launch a nuclear attack.

The massive influx of funds and workers from China has led to increased anti-Chinese sentiment, and Beijing has yet to find ways to defend itself against accusations that its people exist in parallel societies in the host countries, independent of indigenous values and norms.
