despite a brutal lockdown, including even tradies, sydney has not made a dent in the numbers

therefore, delta is unstoppable.

we can get on with having an economy so we can have a poblic health system or we can lock down til christmas and emerge STILL HAVING TO FACE DELTA with a demoralised, exhausted broke economy.

places like the gold coast are home to over a million people. if you think they can survive a 4 months lockdown you are insane.

If there wasn't a lockdown, the numbers would be higher.

We wouldn't be seeing 200, or 300 cases daily - we'd be seeing 600 or 700 and even more.

You just don't get it. You are incapable of understanding simple mathematical and scientific concepts.

It was the same with hospitals. You said "our hospitals aren't overflowing, therefore there's no problem".

The reason our hospitals aren't overflowing is lockdowns.

If there were never any lockdowns, our doctors and nurses would be treating patients in the hospital carparks and out on the street.
