lol... why would "Mr.Ben s. Bernanke, the Chairman Federal Reserve Board New York" send "a package containing $15.5M" to "Sgt Williams Helen grace, United State Of American soldier working as United Nations Peacekeeping Troop" with instructions to forward it to Ye Grappler (or anyone else)?

The more 'elaborate' these scammers try to make their scams appear the more ridiculous they sound.

The poor grammar should always be a hint, of course.

Next thing you know we'll be hearing from an astronaut on the International Space Station with a $15.5 million package sent there by "Mr.Ben s. Bernanke" with instructions to forward it to another 'lucky winner'. Grin

£5,000,000 (English Pounds) and a Rolls Royce.

Metal Trunk Box weighing approximately 320kg
that could be full of treasure.

Wish I'd kept my old Hotmail address from about 20 years ago... I could have been rolling in all this 'wealth' by now as well.

When I first went online in March 2001 I was with iiNet and within a short time my first ever email address was getting spammed. From memory it was carl857(at)iinet.net.au or something like that.

I believe it happened because one of the first forums I joined (the long closed down Annoyances.org) showed email addresses at the bottom of the web browser when you hovered the mouse pointer over a members' name. They did fix it after a while but not before my email address was 'harvested' by spammers and scammers obviously.

Anyway, I closed that email address down after several months which would have been late 2001 but just for a laugh I reactivated it about 6 or 7 years later to see if it was still getting spammed after all those years and it was. Shocked

I then closed it down again.

If I was still with iiNet (been with Telstra since getting NBN in 2015) I'd love to reactivate that email address again to see if it is still getting spammed. I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Grin
