I got a letter from Greta (that rhymes!) saying we weren't doing anything to save the earth and we really need to get behind the kids who want to do it for us, over our dead bodies if necessary.....

I see the phone scammers are back from their Christmas/New Year break.

2 attempted calls this afternoon on the landline from absolutely ridiculous numbers (Remote Number in log)... seen a few of these before.

None of them get through of course because they're blocked by my Telstra Call Guardian which I've set up to block stupid numbers like these. The phone doesn't ring for these calls but if I catch it out of the corner of my eye I see the blue light flashing on the base station to indicate a call (the phone is right next to my computer desk).

The calls do show up on the phone itself and the modem call log.

I think they've all given up on me - I asked them to transfer the money into a new account I would open with a balance of $1... I think they were upset with me or lost the emails and the cash...

Mrs Boongsaya Boogloog the chief minister's widow of some African nation who wanted to make a solid contribution on Earth before she died of cancer, by giving many millions to a nice guy like me who would spend it on good works.... seems to have died..... buggar...

The long-awaited parcel in Milwaukee containing my lost millions is still there stuck in a Raiders Of The Lost Ark style warehouse and I need a cash donation to shake it loose.... and the castles and cash in Ireland and Germany are still undergoing review by the tax authorities there... I'll never inherit it seems... Cry
