A meditation....'the natural man'


"the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God"

...saying;    Men, who are 'in the world', will reject "the things of the Spirit of God".

But why, will they choose, to do so ?



"He taketh the wise in their own craftiness."

['He'. It is talking of God, of the spirit of God].

How is it, that God is able to "take the wise in their own craftiness." ?



QUESTION;
And what is it, that men will choose to reject ?   ....what is it, they reject 'of' the spirit of God ?

Is it a 'wise' thing, for any man to reject what the spirit of God is 'bringing' to him ?

QUESTION;
Is what men reject, just truth ?

Is it [the spirit of] truth which the spirit of God desires to reveal ['bring'] to us [in this world] ?

Are you willing, to accept the consequence, of dismissing what is true ?


"the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive"
