I used my Cell phone to supplement my very poor DSL until that service became so bad I cancelled it entirely. Tethering to my Desk top and tablet is second nature now. For almost two years our only home internet was tethered phones. However my carrier just offered 5g home internet for $50 even and it works great. My DSL speed was less than 700mbps, my 5g averages 40 gig!

My wife has been a local library member for 12 years. Yesterday, she went to get a book (a real one) and they would not let her in without a mobile phone contact tracing app. My guess is that if this Covid pandemic ends, the government will not end its contact tracing. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
