he doesnt really care about touist operators, qantas staff, gym owners, resturant owners, foreign students wanting an education, australian citizens with relatives overseas they need to visit.

it is all about HIM.

even the idea that a  nursing home patient should be confined to solitary confinement and , if sick, put in an isolation room with no hugs or kisses from relatives , but instead be surrounded by aliens in PPE whilst they slowly suffocate.

imagine how confused and terrified an old person must be dying surrounded by nurses in PPE who will not touch them.

just to keep the chodes "safe".

and so our virtuous chief health officers can announce that :their state" has less deaths then "some other stater" in some weird competition all about treating people with zero dignity.

its appallingly selfish and lacking in any compassion or decency.

I think the message Doug Anthony is trying to get across, in he's own loveable way, is that The Great Leap Forward was a boon for the 20 million Chinese who starved to death. Their kids got promoted from textile workers to photocopier technicians. In one lifetime! That's progress, innit?
