Aquascoot, what's the ideological difference between the top-selling Mahindra Tractor  and the Japanese one you're struggling to source parts for?

Which is the despicable leftard tractor? Which is the noble righty?

I'm curious.

The one which resulted in the greatest exploitation of the workers that built it. My guess...the Indian one.

i wonder if numb nuts canyon is aware that a catalytic converter clogs up fairly quickly at low rpm (where tractors rev)and then the cat initiates a "burn".

you cant turn off during a "burn".  it just sits there and idles and burns fuel for 10 to 15 minutes to clean out the cat.

how does that reduce CO 2 emissions numptie Grin Grin Grin Grin
The purpose of a catalyctic converter is not to reduce C02 but to trap harmful pollutants.

yes because a bit of deisel fumes at wagga wagga is so destructive. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes.

far better to use 1 million litres of water to produce a CAT.
to catch a cup ful of soot and then use 15 minutes of diesel to burn the soot into co2.

whilst ensuring big manufacturers of heavy equipment can sell twicw as much "units" by making it 1/2 as reliable.

and farmers can get a heavy haulage truck to tow their tractor 100's of kilometres, adding to pollution and road congestion every time the anti pollution nonsense cuases a failure.

the intellectual position of the rhino and the canyons is a rediculous one  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

In the year 1900

90% of the world's population lived on less than $1 per day in today's dollars

Even if a worker making tractors in India is only earning $3 a day
That is 3 x what 90% of people earnt 120 years ago

Wages and standards of living in India have resin 400% since the year 2000
12 hundred percent in China

It's an incredible miracle

There has never been a force for good that has help so many people as much as globalisation

Now of course with western countries establishing hard borders to protect their 90 year olds from the dreaded virus
There is much less employment in places like India Pakistan Bangladesh Nigeria Ethiopia and Kenya
Children whose parents used to earn $3 a day
Now get to have a bowl of dirt for dinner
So that 90 year olds in western nursing homes
Do not suffer a catastrophic death

How very selfish

Referring to wages in 1900. Cunning, no?

Branson warns stumbling vaccine rollout 'risks Australian economy'

https://www.9news.com.au/national/coronavirus-australia-richard-branson-vaccinat...

Quote:
Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson has urged the Australian government to make the vaccine rollout its "number one priority" or risk Australia falling behind the rest of the world.
Sir Richard told Today that vaccinating populations against COVID-19 was the key to kickstarting international travel.
"It should be the number one priority of government. Nothing else matters more to be honest. Because every single business in Australia will be held back. Every single person in Australia will be held back. The economy will suffer," he said.

Translation: Virgin is still losing lots of money and that needs to be fixed - fast!

Quote:
Sir Richard also defended Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka's controversial comments that borders should reopen even if it resulted in some deaths.
"I think we've all regretted things we've said. And I don't think Jane is any exception to the rule. She's made that clear. She's doing a great job in keeping Virgin Australia going," he said.

lol... I still predict Jayne will have to stand down or be sacked before the end of the year. Especially if she opens her big mouth again and promptly inserts her foot in it like she did last week.

Quote:
Administrators formally sold Virgin Australia to Bain Capital after a second meeting of creditors was held in September.

Ah, there's the answer to my question last week about what idiots decided to buy out a struggling airline during a global pandemic.

Hope they don't expect the Federal government (i.e. taxpayers) to bail them out if things go from bad to worse for them.

Oh, that reminds me... Richard, oops, "Sir" Richard, you can join Jayne and go **** yourself as well. Smiley

Yes, Carl, but I think you'll find Aquascoot's blaming the Liberal government's botched vaccine rollout on the leftards.

You know, like how the Greens always get blamed for bushfires and the policies of rural councils and the National party.

I blame the leftards. It sends a signal, you see, to our virtuous fellow travellers.

You can blame Islam too if you like, or Boongs. Homo wanted to have a crack at the Currries, but Aquascoot won't have it.

Fine specimens, most hard-working and resilient. Lives on a bowl of dirt a day, what.

I won't get out of bed for anything less than the US steel tariffs on an average imported tractor.

You?

The purpose of a catalyctic converter is not to reduce C02 but to trap harmful pollutants.

INdeed, its to reduce NOX emissions mostly.

Mate bought a Mahindra made 25 hp tractor ... heaps of trouble from the get go.

Fuel filters & injector pump.

Getting parts.

Gear box & hydraulic oil box full of metal shavings
i.e. swarf all through it .... caused considerable problems.

So we'll see regards yours.

Quality control?  Grin Grin Grin

btw what food do you produce besides cows?

Bit of pasture or lucerne?

25 hp is a bit underpowered.

i have a couple of businesses (which are more profitable then farming)so i let my neighbours grow lucerne and corn on a few paddocks .(they work hard for not much return)

back to deisel anti pollution gear  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes,

Catalytic converters reduce CO, NO and NO2 emissions, not CO2 emissions. This is particularly the case in diesels since they produce a lot of NOX emissions.

Additionally, running the engine sounds more like a DPF rather tan the cat converter. I used to own a diesel car and it had that issue, in a car though it was easy, just take it for a long run on the highway.

Yes, but in Wagga Wagga? Krazy.

Your average Curry family of eight can live on those NOX emissions, and here the EU goes banning them.

Oh my, when will it ever end?

Although I notice the new Mahindra tractor engines are so good they don't need a DPF
