Latest news channel 7.

11 people in Australia have suffered blood clots -
so far from the AZ vaccine.

unsafe vaccine and made in india?

why gov wanted ppl over 50 to get a AZ shot? old ppl are actual easier to suffer. does that mean gov wanted to get rid of elders?

Get rid of the elders and less pensions to pay.

Unfortunately, we are seeing elements of gerontophobia taking place where people just want the virus to spread among the elderly and see any burden they have to drop off when they do. I get that you are (probably) joking. But the serious situation is that there are people who think in terms of house price affordability. The cut to the migration last year certainly freed up a number of houses. Perhaps we can think in those terms.

I clean the bath about once every fortnight. I recently cleaned the toilet inside and out of whatever build up my body odours leave in the room. Yesterday, I had a sore throat that died off very quickly. I had a headache last night. It was gone by morning, even when I had to get up after 4 or 5 hours sleep.

So, I have to conclude that my recent sicknesses are cleaning related. I am going to go around and disinfect the walls and the ceiling fans as I clean this whole house. I will make the bet that I will be sick a few days later.

If you cannot cough or sneeze from inhalation or build-up of dust in your nose, then something is wrong.

yeah

sick building syndrome

all that cleaning stuff is dangerous.

the japanese are fanatical about it and not letting their kids play in the dirt.

and their incidence of asthma and allergies has sky rocketed.

the incidence of peanut allergy in the west is also thru the roof because people refuse to challenge their kids with peanuts!!!!.

how do you become stronger?

you face down a challenge

kids should be given a peanut infusion along with plenty of dirt sandwiches when they are babies.

then they will be resilient

you shoudl insist bullies come over and torment your kids

then they will be resilient

when you try to hide from a threat, you just get weaker.

my neighbour always drank water from the river, so i do too.

lots of germs

yummy

keeps your immune system on alert

its why covid holds no fears
and the vaccine holds no fears.

eat, drink and ingest as many germs and chemicals as you can lay your hands on

I used a discarded sponge scourer that I had previously used for washing up. I had filled a bucket with diluted Pine-O-Cleen and hot water. Then I had another bucket of hot water to rinse off the sponge. The build up in and on the toilet had been considerable, seeing that the last clean was more than two months earlier. Having scrubbed the top cistern, the toilet lid and seat and inside and out of the toilet bowl, the rinse container was murky brown from all the mould and dirt that had been scrubbed off.

aquascoot, I can safely say that breathing in a fraction of whatever bacteria I had scrubbed off the toilet was enough to give me a sore throat by the time I woke up the next morning. And we did not even have a cold night until the night after (yesterday morning). It is not the chemicals that are the problem. It is the build up of germs around the house that gets you sick. Having close contact with the unclean areas in an attempt to mitigate the unsightly and mouldy areas of the house is what would have lead me to getting sick.

If I look up at the ceiling fan that has not been switched off since last September (until recently), the build up of fluff would have caught some nasty germs in them, too. I looked up at my ceiling fan, that I also have not used too frequently, to find the mould build up, even with the fan switched on to high during the summer months. A clean up of those fan blades will have me sick in no time.

I am extremely fit and healthy with no underlying health issues, I take zero medication, I will not be taking the Astra Zeneca vaccine. I have a much lower chance of dying from Covid than I do from blood clots related to the vaccine. In fact Im fairly sure Ive had Covid19 and recovered from it.

But you didn't get tested and make available your assumed positive diagnosis to the community around you?

For shame.
Last year, I really wasnt too switched onto the symptoms at the time to be quite honest, I rarely get ill and it is never enough to make me think that I need any form of medical assistance, this was the same. It was only after reading a list of common symptoms weeks later that I realised my wife and myself  had exhibited all of those in a minor way for a week or so. I think you will find there are a lot of people in the community who have had it and not realised.

I’m going to have to agree with you Rhino... because....it was early January 2020, my daughter is up in the Gold Coast..... unknowingly, some COVID 19 thing was happening up there, I think (Hanks and wife came in with it, then later hospitalised)
Daughter went into a certain food place... she started feeling ill and came down with full blown flu... losing smell and taste.
As it wasn’t yet understood this COVID virus and symptoms... maybe it was... maybe not. Masks etc didn’t seem to be the order of the day.
About 3/4 during her flu thingy..... we picked her up at Melbourne airport. In the car with her.
I then, within a week, started feeling run down and wham... got the flu symptoms, much to my surprise, in mid summer??!!
(Odd thing is... hubby didn’t get any symptoms at all with us)

I uptake vit d, c, zinc, and other stuff, shortened flu symptoms to 4 days tops.
Once the Covid infections  came in thick and fast by mid March....and Qld border was locked....I wondered if I had it and survived it?
Doctors surgeries were shut down and couldn’t get an appointment unless it was urgent, and no blood tests were being conducted. Phone appointments only.
I wanted to know if a blood test could determine if I had it or not.

Mid winter, finally there were those testing stations for swabs... I went and my results showed negative.

I’ve given up. But now wondering.... if a blood test could in fact show whether I’ve got anti bodies from Covid or not?

I have a medical appointment next week and will ask about having a test for that.
Stay tuned. Will let you know what doc says.

PS funny thing is.... I usually get a bit of flu during later winter months, but had none since last year in January.
Thanks to isolation, mandatory masks, social distancing, extra-extra sanitising, lockdowns etc.

Very interesting observations. Thanks.

Yes, it is possible both of you had covid.
I think the test for covid and the test for antibodies are different tests. I am not sure on that.
So if they are testing for covid and you have the antibodies, it won't 'see' those.

In my experience immunity boosters and the like are very good.
Whatever you can do to help yourself is good.

I barely use chemicals! I have always used minimum if any. If you go to an Enjo demonstration, how to clean your world without any chemicals.... just fibrous cloths and water.... so good!

Even do a survey of where to buy personal cleaning products without harmful chemicals.

I was invited to the ABC women’s survey, answering a lot of questions (it’s for the study of women and illnesses/deaths etc)

Sometimes, the questions tell me what may contribute to a healthy immune system.
Of course they are how many veges and fruit we have, how much meat, alcohol, smoking etc.
But the most interesting question was... if we were on a farm when younger. I was for the first 3 years of my life.
Little grotty tomboy I was...among animals, pets, etc.

I read some time earlier, that a baby/child’s immune system is better and stronger when exposed to all those “farm” elements.
My dad used to say to people how I never had any sicknesses as a child, never had to go to the doctor.

So there must be something to that, asking that we, as youngsters, ever grew up on farms. There are photos of little blond curly hair me, amongst chooks, geese, dog and cat.
I used to hide from mum in the chook shed with the chooks as they squawked and I told they chooks to “sshhhh” be quiet!

I’m lucky I’ve been on rain tank water all my life.
And I think I’m lucky I wasn’t as inoculated back in that era as so many bubbies and kids have since!

As I do catch cold/flu .... I know my immune system is good and will do it’s job. How well do people know/trust their immune system? How well do people know what will strengthen or weaken the immune system?

Blood clots... and now, this.

Fully vaccinated travellers test positive in Sydney hotel quarantine

https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/fully-vaccinated-travellers-test-positive-in...

Quote:
Six people who tested positive for COVID-19 in hotel quarantine in the past three weeks had already been fully vaccinated overseas, revealing the difficulties with implementing a vaccine passport system.

According to data from NSW Health’s weekly COVID-19 surveillance report, between April 10 and May 1, six people in quarantine who reported being fully vaccinated were among the 150 overseas cases recorded.

Can't say I'm surprised. Too many people believe the vaccines are some sort of "silver bullet" that will "cure" all of the world's Covid problems **cough**aqua**cough**

Sorry, people... looks like no overseas travel for a while yet (unless you're a cricketer or other sports star, celebrity, rich businessman, etc., of course). Roll Eyes

Pregnant women should visit farms to strengthen the immune systems of their children,” according to Swedish researcher Anna-Carin Lundell.

Researchers at Gothenburg University followed 65 healthy new-borns for three years. All of the children lived in rural areas, and half of them lived on dairy farms.

It turned out that in this latter group, the risk of allergies was one-tenth of the risk for the other children.

The fact that living on a farm protects against allergies is not news to scientists. They have known about the effect for 15 years.

But the Swedish researchers think they have discovered something about why this is happening.

They have shown that children who are allergic have a higher proportion of immature B cells as new-borns. B cells are linked to the development of allergy.

Bacteria are protective
Scientists have long suspected that immature cells in the immune system are involved in the high incidence of asthma and allergies in the Western world, but no one has been able to prove it, Lundell explains.

Professor Karin C. Lødrup Carlsen does not agree that the new study is revolutionizing the field. Rather, she posits, it supports established knowledge about allergies and immunological maturation processes.

Carlsen leads a University of Oslo (UiO) research team focused on asthma and allergic diseases in children and adolescents.

Very interesting read.

I used to allow my little kids to play in mud, swim in dam, romp around in grass naked without nappies on so all their  skin can get sunlight, air etc.

They had a sandpit, and loved it, even in the coldest winter, I have photos of them rugged up with puffy jackets, wooly hats, little gum boots, out there in the cold extreme making sand castles.
When we had our city cousins come visit, all dressed in white clothing, their kids were not allowed to run with our dog to the dam where my kids ran into the water to play.
I could tell they wanted to follow, but their mum said they can just watch.
I felt sorry for them, having such restrictions.
There’s nothing better than feeling freedom to run and play, with dog happily by ones side.

My kids, they adults now, and have thanked me for their childhood they had.
They both fit and strong, athletic and healthy.

Horse boy is a certifiable idiot, Lols, take no notice of his nonsense! If we had done like he THINKS Sweden did we would have over 30,000 dead from the virus. Worse than Booby.

That would be a normal human response, yes.  Unless you were actually dead. The medulla oblongata regulates the bodies autonomic functions. basically if you stop sneezing then that means you are dead.
