Yes. And the google image that first comes up is the one of me when I was 130kg. It is a photo of me with my former co-workers from 6 years ago. But, I am the only person of my name in the entire world. So, there would be no confusion about two people of the same name coming up in a google image search.

There is only 500 people in the entire world with my last name. So, you know now that my last name is not Smith, Johnson, Williams, Jones, or Brown. And my father has a shared first name with a relative over in the United States. Having traced my ancestors back to the early 1800s, my first name is not mentioned among other relatives, and that makes me the only one.

So because your first name is not mentioned amongst your other relatives that makes you the only one in the world. Do you understand what specious reasoning means?

No, I did not know what specious reasoning meant. So, I looked up the meaning and found that it had to do with "an argument or analysis which has the apparent ring of truth or plausibility but is actually fallacious. Such arguments are attractive because they are seemingly well-reasoned or factual, but are either fallacious or insincere". The most common example about the magical rock that keeps African lions away because there are no lions around.

But, seeing that I have a family background that has a surname leading back to the early 1800s (perhaps late 1700s) and none of the relatives have a first and last name the same as mine, I can claim to be the only person in the world with that name.

Thank you, you looked up the term and provided your own example.

What are you talking about? There is a long line of my family name dating back 350 years. There has been a thorough tracing to find no one else has my first and last name in combination.

The point is obvious. its only your own personal experience to make you believe you name is unique. Do you really believe that there has been a team of detectives dedicating to finding your namesake? What would be the motive? That you are so important that people would dedicate themselves to make sure no one else has the same name as you?

Years ago, my mother did an ancestry trace of the family to find out the entire family background. Focussing solely on my family's last name, the 372 years of its known existence (save for maybe the father of the guy in England), there has not been another person with my first name associated with my family's last name. I would be the only one. Unless one of my cousins either here in Australia or overseas decides to name their son the same first name as mine, I am the only one of my name.

There are genealogists out there that have jobs trying to find people's ancestors. Did you not think of that? I would not have made such a broad claim if I did not know for myself the fact of the matter.

The motive here is to point out that Hannah Hite was a common name. But it helped when I added her middle name so that I could search for the picture you found. I pointed out that I had the only first and last name unique in my family history. Finding my picture in the google image search was easy.

You contradicted yourself. You have basically said that I claimed to have the only unique name in the whole world. That is the same as saying that I had the only first and last name unique in my family history. All people in the world with my surname are related to me.

There "are" only 500 people in the entire world with my last name, currently. There could have been at least 700+ people that have ever had my last name. We are the only group that has a a surname unique to our family tree.
