FDR suffered the painful after effects of polio.

Kennedy had Addison's disease.

Johnson had heart trouble since the 50's until it killed him in the early 70's.

Ronald Reagan (according to his son) was never the same after he was shot in 1981 and by the mid 1980's was showing signs of cognitive decline.
