The idea that Muslims and any aspect of their religion should be sheltered from criticism is totally inimical to the principle of freedom of speech, which is the foundation of a free and democratic society, and an indispensable shelter against tyranny. It is simply impossible to protect any group’s right not to be offended without grievously infringing on the constitutional freedom of political communication of others who disagree with them.
Oh, I agree, Soren. Problem is, the criticism needs to be based on knowledge and understanding not as you do, on Islamophobia and hatred. When you acknowledge that you know bugger all about how Islam operates, it might be possible to teach you where you are wrong. Understand? Until then you live in your own Twilight Zone based on Racism and Islamophobia. Tsk, tsk, tsk...
I asked you and others before to show us what 'criticism of Islam based on knowledge and understanding' looks like.
As usual, you could only say twilight zone and roll your eyes.
The same with Aboriginal topics. You offer no solution, nothing constructive, just inane sniveling.
Same with every other topic and subject, come to think of it.
It usually goes like this:
You: ABC headline with emoji.
Any response, including request for you to express an opinion or solution.
You: sniveling twilight zone and tut tut eye rolling.
Any response pressing you for more details or others commenting to each other.
You: twilight zone, racism, Islamophobia, sniveling tut tut and eye rolling.
And so the years roll on.
