I'd rather they weren't. I'd rather that they had the strength of character to both fight against rape and to report it to the Police afterwards, if they fail to prevent it. However, I recognise that many are shrinking violets as far as physical stuff goes, all too often. Fail to do so is to wish upon the moon. We are dealing with women, today, who have been taught by their parents and society that they must suck it up and put up with men who behave in an appalling manner, all too often.
Good God, man - they are taught that they are princesses and that they have all these rights ... why do you imagine our social landscape is such a disaster area these days?
Because for far too long, they were denied their basic rights as human beings, they were confined to the kitchen, kept barefoot and pregnant by men folk who refused to understand that they were human and that they deserved respect, Graps, exactly as you are doing. You don't really care about women, except how they keep house and you satisfied.
If that isn't the impression you want to purvey, then rethink what you are typing. It is old hat and it is pointless. Women today generally are much better equipped than they were 20 or 60 years ago. Today, women are much more willing to report sexual assaults to Police and good on them. So they should.

They are afraid of the consequences of reporting such a matter - both personally and socially. Shame that personally they will be thought of as "loose".
