On Tuesday alone, at least 20 cities suffered their coldest weather in history. Many more new records are expected this week.

In the history of recorded temperatures.

So, just over 100 years.

That's nothing.

I said it's just weather, and that the records are over such an unbelievably short period of time that your cries of "ice age" are ridiculous.

Texas mayor spent 38 hours without heat or water
Texas has suffered the brunt of the storm, and many there are suffering the freezing temperatures with no power to heat their homes.
Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price told CNN Tuesday night that she was been without power or water for around 38 hours.
"It got down to a record low last night, two degrees below," Price said. "So, it is really cold, and this is Texas, North Texas. We don't get this kind of weather. People don't always have the clothing for it, and certainly don't drive in it very well."

What is Biden doing? Nothing. Why? Because most of Texas is on its own power grid, a decision made in the 1930s to avoid federal regulation. This means both that it avoids federal regulation and that it cannot import more electricity during periods of high demand. As temperatures began to drop, people turned up electric heaters and needed more power than engineers had been told to design for, just as the ice shut down gas-fired plants and wind turbines froze. Demand for natural gas spiked and created a shortage. Of course, this is being spun to disparage the New Green Deal but the frozen wind turbines were the smallest factor in the crisis. They supply only about 10% of the state’s power in the winter.
