Anything rather than acknowledge reality eh?
The only reality that needs attention on this topic is your constant need to think that because you cannot handle a virus, it must mean that other people cannot handle a virus.
Im not diabetic or obese and I havent been ill for 30 years.
I am also on zero prescribed medications, how many you on?
Every medication you are on effectively doubles your risk of dying or otherwise from Covid.
What they are finding in the US and the UK is that people on multiple serious medications are in the highest risk group for Covid.
So for example, if someones got high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity they are in the highest risk group.
You seem to be focusing on the elderly as a reference to yourself being able to recover easily, but the elderly arent the most significant deaths simply because they are old , the reason they are dying is because most of them do have various illnesses.
Plenty of very healthy and fit old people surviving. They had a 102 year old in Spain who sailed through it but she was a villager used to doing 10 hours of constant exercise a day and on a mediteranean diet all her life.
And a significant issue appears to be amongst the young survivors is that lung function is severely compromised, they dont know how long this lasts.
The one thing that Aqua keeps harping on about is absolutely correct,
your best defense against this is not pretending that despite being an unhealthy couch potato you are going to have some sort of super immunity to this but
getting out and getting as fit and as healthy as possible.
Very well said.
I agree 100 %
that is it in a nutshell
' ...... your best defense against this is getting out and getting as fit and as healthy as possible ...'
My mother is 95 years old and on no medication.
She sleeps all year with her windows open for fresh air.
She live with doors and windows open all year.
This is in a cold region of NZ.
She goes for a walk every day and gardens every day. It is really hard for her to do that, she does not do it because she wants to.
She does it because she has to. That is what she told me.
The cold is good for you. We live lives too sheltered, too comfortable.
Get cold in winter, get hot in summer, sweat every day.
