What bugs me is the democratic mayors ordered police to stand down.
they enabled the riots.

then the media stood in front of burning buildings saying it is mostly a peaceful demonstration.

sprint   you cant compare the two the DEMONSTRATION   was passion not violence that caused the buildings to burn and shops to be destroyed and was in a good cause.....

the RIOT  note the  difference in describing  something that has gone on for months   not hours... Roll Eyes.

its called a demonstration.....its woke dontchano?

Exactlemente, dear. The riot was s peaceful protest - just a few red-blooded American boys letting off steam. They just wanted to lynch Mike Pence, you know. Perfectly understandable.

They're all claiming the Nuremberg defence, of course, all saying they were acting under orders. They're all demanding presidential pardons, poor things.

Imagine Dear Leader pardoning white trash like that. Apparently he ordered Fox during the riot to post some footage of "decent people". Unfortunately the camera crews were stuck - their cameras had been smashed.

Mr Trump probably meant file footage. Quakers holding a candlelight vigil on Pensylvania Avenue, something like that.

That's what he meant when he told them to fight like hell, no? He didn't really mean Proud Boys, stand back and stand by. He didn't really mean "go wild".

Just, you know, a peaceful occupation - like Seattle. Mr Trump has always stood up for demonstrators, leftards, it's just the kind of man he is.

talking rubbish  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  never understand the point of your posts,...silly nonsense.. no one here has called 6 Jan a peaceful protest....it was a MARCH  on the capital to let congress know they were unhappy with the result of the election........the fact it turned into a RIOT  could in fact be attributed to the many dickhead groups they now have in AMERIKA....they are imo all REDNECKs..yes all of them....if you lined up all the ring leaders   you would be hard pushed to tell who belonged to which..... Angry Angry

they are all mentally the same very low IQs  ARMED to the TEETH...with HATE in their eyes for their fellow AMERIKAN..its idiots like you who pretend its only one sided.....that will keep this going for many years yet....

So why did Dear Leader tell his boys to stand back and stand by, dear?

The Proud Boys believe in violent insurrection. That's their point. Here's their founder, Gavin McInnes:

Quote:
“I want violence, I want punching in the face. I’m disappointed in Trump supporters for not punching enough.”

That's who your Dear Leader invited to the Capitol, dear. Would you invite him in for a cuppa?

Perhaps drone strikes are morally acceptable? They were for Biden and Obama. This is progress.

And you have audio copies of his speeches to these "Proud Boys"? Well done you. Hand them over to the authorities. They really need EVIDENCE. Wink

I'm really curious. You?

Mistie, if you weren't such a "progressive" lecturer of our Muslim brothers, I'd ask what you mean by morally acceptable.

Staging a Washington sit-in? Organizing a demo at the Capitol? Hunting down the Vice Prez for a lynching?

This is "progress".

Now now, old boy, some of our best friends are Macedonians. They've burgled your bottom more times than you've had hospital dinners, you poor thing.

Civilisation has its discontents, innit.

What's your beloved Spectator saying about this mess?

https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/only-trump-is-to-blame-for-the-capitol-chaos

You might want to go back to Punch, eh?

Pretty right there, cods - I'd say they're all pretty much the same...

The Prez of Afghanistan says that if the Trump total troop withdrawal takes place, Al Qaeda and ISIS will re-emerge and launch an even more vicious campaign against the rest of the world...
So Trump the Peacemaker will be replaced by Biden the Warmaker..... and some will think that an old guy with a Shallow Hal VP will be an easy mark....

Interesting times ahead.... Trump did quite well with the velvet glove over the iron fist....

'Yeah - we're going for that - going for peace...... but just remember we do this from a position of strength, not weakness... never make that mistake.... we're doing it for humanity... in the hope that others will follow that lead...."
