Clearly, the sun is not in a GSM or anywhere near it.

The warming from increasing amounts of greenhouse gases will continue, another 1°C warming by 2060 (assuming no further acceleration in warming.)

The warm Arctic is seeing permafrost thaw out, releasing methane—so one greenhouse gas is out of our control now. Methane is a very powerful GHG but oxidises fairly quickly into CO2. With much more open ocean sunlight is absorbed by the dark ocean warming the ocean. As the heat gets released later in the year it slows refreezing of ocean water, meaning the next season starts with thinner ice. There is little to no thick multiyear ice left. Methane is also now released from under the Arctic Ocean as a result of this rapid warming.

When the sun eventually does go into a GSM it will cool the globe by 0.2°C, which is how much AGW warms us in a decade—with the seas releasing heat we won’t even notice any cooling.

The so-called Environment board here is a complete waste of space.

The world is accumulating heat, mostly in the oceans which is why an increase in CO2 content takes about 21 years to manifest in rising terrestrial/lower troposphere temperatures.

This is why that stuff you keep posting without understanding is irrelevant. You could not even explain why the globe and atmosphere is “an underdamped system.”

There is no GSM. there is no Ice Age coming.
