As I said... I couldn't care less about ANY politician... Labor or Liberal.

What I do care about is the fact that Perth and Western Australia is living a 'Covid Free' lifestyle at the moment and has been for 99& of the time since the start of the pandemic.

Right now we have no masks and virtually no restrictions whatsoever. OK, I know we're still supposed to be social distancing and checking in with our SafeWA app or pen and paper when entering shops and other premises but a lot of people don't bother anymore (if they even did to start with) and no-one checks to see that people comply.

And, if we have to start sacrificing this Covid free lifestyle and start wearing masks and having other restrictions brought in just for the sake of money and 'the economy' then I'm certain more than 80 percent of us (myself included) are going to be royally p***ed off.

What is it with you mongs in WA - Bbwian, turd, you, phillperf etc?   Who is keeping your borders closed, who is giving the health orders that YOU SUPPORT??  Politicians. Politicians tou do not care about, only support.  You guys are weird, stupid.

That's not their iron ore it's Australia's iron ore, they are retarding Australia because they have the riches and McGowan is acting like Kim Jong Un.

In what way is McGowan acting like Kim Jong Un?

They are both in control of hermit kingdoms, the difference being in WA they don't have to eat grass because they have our iron ore to sustain Kim Jong McGowan's political agenda.

The cartoon is satirical and not intended to be factual.

Western Australia is not a kingdom.

The Kim family sealed North Korea off from the world to establish and sustain a tyrannical and murderous regime.

Given the McGowan government (as with the New Zealand government), likely by fluke and isolation, achieved an almost zero-covid status, it's hard to imagine any government of the day not wanting to defend that record.

The West Australians will be allowed out of their paddock sometime later next year so says their shepherd Mark.

WE DON'T WANT THEM HERE.

Why would we want to leave our paddock?   Undecided

We have no restrictions, and no COVID.

Time to give up on them, Greg. Unless they actually came over here most of them will never understand just how great life is here in Perth (and all of WA) at the moment.

And, over 80 percent of us would like it to stay that way.

I think you're right - they just don't get it.

No COVID and no restrictions.

Life here is the same as it was before COVID.

The only difference is checking in with QR codes.

I'm in no hurry to go to another state or country at the moment.

Morrison says McGowan doing 'more harm than good' in border closure plan (might need to scroll up a bit... stupid link).

Quote:
Now he is being asked about Western Australia’s commitment not to open the border until 90% of the state’s over-12 population is fully vaccinated.

Morrison says WA premier Mark McGowan will be doing “more harm than good”.

The modelling done by the Doherty Institute makes it very clear – and that’s what was agreed in the national plan, not just once but twice – and that is once you hit 80% double-dose vaccination rates, then you’re able to move forward...

Of course, there’s a big difference between 70 and 80%. When you look at the curve of the pandemic, once you hit 80% – whether it’s a low number of cases you’re going into, like would be the case in Western Australia, or a high number of cases like we’ve seen in New South Wales and Victoria – once you hit that 80% threshold, there is a scientifically-backed in position which says that you can take the next step.

And the advice we have from the secretary of Treasury, from Dr Kennedy, is once you go over 80% and you keep things locked down, you are doing more harm than good to your economy.

You’re actually putting a price on Australians when you continue to put heavy restrictions on your economy, once you hit 80% vaccination rates.

The only harm being done is to Scotty from Marketing's re-election chances at the upcoming Federal Election.

I (and most of WA, I'm sure) would like to see more of that.

I'm betting mask-wearing will be mandatory in Australia on and off over the next year, or at least until a large percentage of a state's population's pathogen response eases (which will only happen if state hospitals are not overloaded) and (the big 'and') senior politicians do not see there being any further political capital in continuing the mandate.

I hope you're right.

I'd like to see mask-wearing mandatory on public transport, for example, all the time.

Thats right. You yourself have to catch public transport, some of us have a choice.

No covod no restrictions and no prospect of economic growth

Trade is absolutely essential for economic growth

And the Australian economy is becoming increasingly reliant on tourism educational services
Skilled immigration in order to have a functional economy

Carl and Gregory think that you can have 100 guys dig up some iron ore
And then 1 million parasites in Perth whose function in the economy is to be consumers

That has 0 prospect of working
It will work in the short term for the selfish entitlement of Gregory and Carl
And it will work in the short term for the bedwetting Premier
But where is the job prospects for our most precious generation
The young people of western Australia
Who are orders of magnitude more precious than the lingering fossils

Without a functional economy very very few of them have a functional future
And without a functional economy there will be no public health system to pander to the bed wedding Gregory and Carl

They would appear to be shooting themselves with a self inflicted wound
