True.

Don't buy from them though - they treat their employees like sh!t.

Well, more so than most employers.

JB's are no better.

Good Guys is the preferred option.

Not that they're that great either.

People still move, need furniture, appliances break down and need to be replaced.

The Stasi/KGB mind-set seems particularly strong in Perth.

One can live without a coffee table and popcorn maker, surely.

Bit of a worry looking at this as well. Especially the flights from overseas.

Ah yes, Perth.

Where we have no restrictions, no requirement to wear a mask,  and are free to gather in crowds as large as we like wherever we like.

How's it working out for you over east?

I'm curious.

The "we don't want a major Covid outbreak here" mindset is probably the strongest of all in WA right now.

Yeah, because other people really wanted it.

FFS  Roll Eyes

Why are we letting these people in?

And that truck yard in Kenwick - I have an associate whom I buy guitars from who lives right near that.

I won't be visiting him for a while.

Two weeks?

I'm expecting it within the next two hours.

And I'm deadly serious.

Delta is here - it's only a matter of time before we go back into lockdown.

Until then though, I'll enjoy the freedom afforded to me by McGowan's tough lockdown policy.

Couple of pictures I took at Zone Bowling in Cannington this afternoon when I popped in there with my aunt on our way back from Gosnells Railway Markets.

Wouldn't be able to take pictures like this in Sydney or Melbourne right now because all the bowling centres (and all other entertainment venues) are closed due to lockdowns.

What's going on here?

Quote:
Advice for passengers on flights with a confirmed case of COVID-19
Close contacts
People seated in the same row as the case, the two rows in front, and the two rows behind should:

Self-quarantine at home for 14 days

Seek immediate attention if symptoms develop
For more information refer to Self-quarantine in Western Australia to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (PDF 184KB).

I thought ALL overseas arrivals were supposed to go into hotel quarantine (as inadequate as it is) for 14 days, not quarantine at home?

No wonder we're sitting on a Covid 'time bomb'. Shocked

yeah

and in 6 months, the boys in sydney will be kicking back with a beer as WA goes into its 5th lockdown because your premier has amped up the anxiety to the point, the whole state will poop its pants when they get a couple of cases.

your hour of being a laughing stock is rapidly approaching
