Guess who's at it again?

Why am I not surprised Clive is another anti vaxxer nutter? And, he's obviously still p****d off with WA and our Premier, Mark McGowan.

Yes, of course. But, as usual... yours truly is still buying The West Australian at the shops every day so here it is... I wonder if Clive can make an even bigger fool of himself than he already has? (I'm sure he can).

flip... and... Clive's STILL an idiot with too much spare time (and money) on his hands.

Oh, is he also threatening all of the other States with lawsuits over their vaccine rollouts? Roll Eyes

Looks like he's a real sucker for punishment.

Clive Palmer says he will sue over WA's mandatory vaccination requirement for travellers

He's also been putting his stupid yellow ads in The West Australian again over the past week or two... not full page ones thank goodness, just smaller ones at the bottom of the front page which is bad enough. Roll Eyes

From what I've read the past few days the AFL players will not be allowed to bring their wives or girlfriends or any other family to Perth if the Grand Final is held here and Mr. McGowan may also be insisting that all players have been vaccinated.

Hopefully, with conditions like that the AFL will give it to another State instead of WA if the game cannot be played at the MCG.

I accompanied a friend who was getting her first Pfizer jab at the new Perth Convention Centre Clinic today.

From the minute she walked in the door until the time she walked out, 35 minutes in total.

And that includes the 15 minute wait in the post-jab area.

Can't complain about that.

Took me about the same at the Claremont Showgrounds jabby place.

I arrived 45 minutes early for my first 'jab' at the vaccination hub near Perth Domestic Airport on June 17th and went in straight away, I ended up walking out about 20 minutes before my actual appointment time (11:30am) even with the 15 minute wait after the 'jab' because they were so quiet that day.

I'm guessing my second appointment for September 13th at Claremont Showgrounds might take a bit longer probably due to more people making bookings for the vaccines especially after they've seen what's happening in NSW at the moment.

I'm going to ask my 91 year old aunt's GP today about her second Covid vaccination because she's due for it and we haven't heard anything yet, they didn't make a second appointment for her when she had the first 'jab' in mid May.

Surely ScoMo isn't that stupid, is he? Oh, wait.... silly question.

But, I did read somewhere recently (may have been in our West Australian newspaper) that the Federal government won't be backing Clive on this which isn't surprising seeing as they want to get as many people vaccinated as soon as possible.

Oh, here's Clive's ad which was in yesterday's paper at the bottom of the front page, he's been running them for the past few weeks... most of them were about border closures costing jobs, etc. but this is a new one.

Yes, Clive, I'll actually agree with you this time... WA does need more hospitals (and the doctors, nurses and staff to run them).

Maybe Clive should pay for some of those things instead of wasting his money on stupid lawsuits and ads in the paper?

Agreement reached on purpose-built quarantine facility in WA

Quote:
The Commonwealth and Western Australian Government have today reached an agreement to move forward with the delivery of a 1,000 bed purpose-built quarantine and emergency response facility in the state.

Under the agreement, the Commonwealth will fund the construction of the facility and the Western Australian Government will operate the facility and meet operational costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Quote:
Planning for the facility aims to secure the first 500 beds being ready by the end of March 2022.

Well, its finally a step in the right direction but I'm hoping we're not in the same situation (or worse) as NSW by the end of next March. That's a LONG time to wait.

Even though I have tickets for it, I hope McGowan cancels the Bledisloe Cup scheduled for Saturday week.

I'll be pretty disappointed with him if he doesn't.
