Unbelievable... you seriously need to seek professional help - you can start by killing less brain cells with the Roundup. Better hurry though, I strongly suspect you don't have too many left.

nope.

the population were SCREAMING for a vaccine.

now we have one, they dont want to get it.

they just want to keep borders closed.

unacceptable.

have the vaccine or have the virus.

simple choice.

neither scares me

both seem to terrify the confused conflicted inconsistent cretins

But, I am worried about my 91 year old aunt and the tens of thousands of others in this country who would probably die if the virus gets loose here... vaccine or no vaccine.

Calm down, aqua... you seem to be getting a bit overexcited (too much Roundup exposure today?).

No one has any definite proof yet that Covid vaccines are effective, especially against all the new variants that are appearing lately.

And, from what we've seen with recent "returned travellers" testing positive after being fully vaccinated overseas, the vaccines don't stop people getting Covid and spreading it to others. Which would be a disaster here in Australia considering the low number of vaccinated people we have so far.

Another important question is - what do you think would happen to a Federal government (with an election due next year) that allowed Covid to escape into the community and potentially cause tens of thousands to die if we "let it rip" after this October as you suggest.

I'm sure Scott Morrison is thinking about that every day.

He is talking about fortress Western Australia, and yes, Mcgowan can keep it going indefinitely, he has an unbeatable majority and lots of cash$$$, they budgeted for $55 a tonne iron ore now its $200.PT.  I think that gives Mcgowan an extra $20b if I heard correctly. I dont like him, but thats the facts.

Carl - oh, that is scary.
Good luck for you.

In New Zealand, they are not recommending covid vaccines for the very elderly.
I think that is a valid idea.

If enough 'other' people get vaccinated, the very elderly will be protected by the herd immunity.

I doubt it but there's a definite possibility they may be screaming after receiving the vaccine. Especially the AstraZeneca one.

The chance of blood clots (for young AND old) and now this:

Health authorities investigate after WA woman develops large-scale bruising after COVID-19 jab

Quote:
WA health authorities are investigating after a grandmother developed bruising all over her body days after receiving her first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The daughter of 80-year-old Maureen DeBoick, from near Mt Barker in the Great Southern, shared shocking images of her elderly mother’s bruise-covered hands, saying she had to be airlifted from Albany to Fiona Stanley Hospital two weeks ago for treatment.

“It started off as a spot on her tongue that got bigger overnight,” Trudy Love posted on social media. “It progressed very quickly to the inside of her gums bleeding & everywhere she touched on her body came out in a huge dark bruise straight away.

As Lols said a couple of days ago, the vaccine name should be changed to Russian Roulette. Shocked

you have seriously lost the plot.

your risk of death from covid, maybe 1 in 20 at least if you are old and have cancer

your 90 yo aunts risk  , maybe 1 in 4.

your RISK FROM THE VACCINE  1 in 200,000 of a clot and 1 in 1 million of death,

now carl

think hard

truy to use your brain.

would your aunt rather play russian roullet with 1 in 3 chambers loaded or with 1 in 1000000 chamber loaded.

your continuied amping up of the fear is illogical.

i noticed when s shark kills someone in WA, you all want sharks demolished despite it being such a low low risk.

learn to live with SOME risk
its unavoidable.

1 in 1 million sounds good to me

Poor Maureen DeBoick.
That is very sad.

dont be sucked into individual cases sprint.

recently a car was swept away in the floods in qld and the guy died because he was stuck in his seat belt and couldnt get free.

so sad.

murderous seat belts
if only he hadnt put on that seat belt.

NO.

if something greatly reduces the risk of death 99 % of the time, then if you die in the other 1 % scenario, it doesnt change the fact that you are way way way safer wearing a seat belt.

and you are way way way safer having the vaccine.

i havent come upon a siuation where australians have shown their national stupidity quite as bad as this.

old people should have it because its way way safer.

young people should have it because when we get to 90 % vaccinated they can recommence "human flourishing"

its a no brainer

I hear you Aqua.

For Maureen and her family, it is a very sad time.
To say the least.

The media is not giving a balanced view and they are escalating some things.

But, for this lady and those who loved her. Sad Sad

this is NOT NEW sprint.

fluvax carries a risk of anaphylaxis and death.

probably thousands of people have died from an allergic reaction to penicillin.

having a ceasarian increases the mothers chances of dying in the next 6 weeks by well over double (due to clots).

you can find "tragic cases" everywhere.

but you have to weight up the risks
make a sensible analysis and then move forward.

i can gaurantee you one thing.

for every person who dies from covid vaccines this year there will be many more who die from a ladder fall

There were 226 patients who died as a result of the ladder‐related fall, with 186 (82.3%) aged over 60 years.

the media dont report it because its not sexy.

maybe we should ban ladders from households and all remain safe under our beds  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

lol... "human flourishing". What a load of bollocks.

More population... more congested roads, more pollution, more things like hospitals unable to cope with an increased population... more chance of the next pandemic killing tens or hundreds of thousands in Australia (assuming this one doesn't, there's still a big chance that will happen).

I'm done with this. Find someone else to play with.
