Oops...

Twitter calls Australian minister Mark McGowan sick for getting speech translated to Aboriginal-English

Quote:
Mark McGowan, the State Premier of Western Australia, has a big role to play in preventing the Covid spread in Australia. His job involves taking measures to prevent misinformation around vaccination, especially in areas where vaccine rates are low.

One such measure is getting brutally trolled because it has come off as a supremely racist initiative.

Why?

Because it seems that the minister looks at the Aborginals as some "uneducated folk who cannot understand plain Australian English".

Careful, Mark... most of us already suspect you're been 'bullied' into opening WA up to Covid just like what's happened in the other States but we don't want you to 'lose the plot' before February 5th.

We want you to keep a clear head and remain focused in the Covid crisis over east so you can hopefully make a snap decision to keep WA closed for at least another 6 months.

The irony of aqua telling us over and over that Omicron is mild and we all need to catch it as soon as possible.

Try telling that to the families of the 56 people who died of/with Covid around Australia in the past 24 hours.

NSW - 29 deaths
Victoria - 18 deaths
South Australia - 6 deaths
Queensland - 3 deaths

Tragic and completely avoidable (as I'm sure will be brought up in a future Royal Commission).

Another good reason not to open up on February 5th.

How COVID-19 could ‘incapacitate’ FIFO camps when WA opens

Quote:
Miners could face the end of two years of prosperity where they remained almost untouched by COVID-19 within Premier Mark McGowan’s fortress WA when the state opens up in three weeks.

Yep, can't afford to have the mining industry crippled by Covid. Keep the border closed, Mark.

They're idiots.

There's nothing to panic about.

Unless, of course, you're unvaccinated.

Life's about to get real hard for the Novaks of Perth.

those are such tiny tiny numbers

we were told at the start it had a case fatality rate of 1 to 2 %.
which would be 250,000 to 500,000.

now you are getting all bent out of shape by single figures!!!!

eh gads man

have you lost your mind !!!!

If someone you love dies from COVID, they're 100% dead.

Get back to us in about 6 months when we will have the 'double whammy' of Covid and the flu to deal with.

There's even reports from overseas that some people have caught both at the same time, they call it Flurona.

Interesting times ahead. And, probably not very pleasant times for a lot of especially vulnerable people, unfortunately.

covid and the flu will NEVER take out as many people as self inflicted things like junk food and obesity.

not even close

self inflicted disease is way more common and thats what is clogging up our hospitals.

they are overflowing with heart disease, diabetes, cancer and mental health issues mostly due to people lack of "personal responsibility" for their health.

everyones getting omicron whether someone coughs on you or not.

the marathon must be run.

nsw is close to the finish line, victoria close behind, qld is putting in a noble surge.

WA is still in bed, hiding from the physical education teacher who is looking for their sorry asses and is going to drag them , kicking and screaming , to the start line .

hopefully the citizens of WA have spent the last 2 years doing brutal training to prepare

Now now, Greggery, people should be grateful to be coughed on. If they catch obesity their condition could become terminal.

Covid's a state of mind. The placebo effect can be very powerful indeed.

9/ Humans can be trained and conditioned quickly and relatively easily to significantly alter their behaviours - for better or worse.
