To Bee or Not To Bee?

Editorial:- You may recall that I was lamenting the lack of bees in my gardens this year, possibly due to the effects of the bushfires - this has grown to such a state that I am considering importing a 'tame' hive of natives (they don't sting and some are gorgeous to look at) so as to ensure cross-pollination of plants and thus better 'crops'. Now this - a local council as usual - Usual Suspects in the Fascist Race To the Bottom - the lower down the scale of government, the more the desire to impose one's petty will on everyone and everything:-

Noosa council have made an irrational decision to ban beekeeping in Noosa.

The planed bylaw is so ignorant it doesn’t even distinguished between stingless native bees and European honeybees.

The council is yet to update its website with the correct information about the new bylaw and did not consult with beekeeping organisations before formulating it.

Sarah Hamilton @beeyourselfaustralia supplies native stingless bees that are indigenous to the area is perplexed as to why a creature that pollinates Indigenous plants and food in the area is forbidden.

Sunshine Coast Beekeepers Inc secretary Bill Spencer said he was extremely concerned and would lobby to have the new bylaw overturned.

"It is absolutely short-sighted and unnecessary," he said.

"There is absolutely no need to put an exclusion on native bees for a start, and we believe that European honeybees, handled responsibly and correctly which all our members do, don't pose a problem to the public in any way.

With limited access to national parks to beekeepers , habitat loss and huge amount of pesticides being used on agricultural land the antidote to saving bees may be utilising residential areas and backyard beekeeping. "

Councils are populated with self serving criminal deadbeats.

The head honchos are generally businessmen wanting to change laws so they can profit.

The office workers are deadbeats who couldnt do an honest days work if their lives depended on it.

The council workers, now thats an interesting term, find it hard to put in an hours work.

Yep,

It time to dissolve councils and get rid of yet another useless level of government.

You got that right, brother. I've been asked to stand for council on a non-party/non-business platform... it seems some here understand my radical views on these evil influences on democracy, and many share them.

United Nations has many branches and these branches which govern over some subject matter have deliberately enshrined their particular form of legislation into the fabric of all Nations through conventions. treaties and standards, I don’t think anything exists today that is untouched by the United Nations in some shape or form.

Thus the United Nations is governing most countries through the back door whilst the people don’t even realize what is going on and the governments all over are complicit either by design or stupidity, following the UN without question is a standard thing in today’s world.

Maybe that’s why awhile back ScoMo said that he will not be told by others how to run Australia (probably climate change..?) but who knows.

The United Nations is running the world in the background, everything from but not limited to,

Social

Economic

Education

Land use

Tax

Law and order

And many others

Problem is they’re in the back ground and people donot know that it’s the UN running the place.

Anywhere you hear or read that word sustainability make no mistake it’s a law written by the United Nations and one of its branches.

Grap your beloved Noosa is run by the United Nations, they set the laws for just about everything.

Look into it further Grap. I'm sure this executive order about bees comes from some United Nations branch.

I only have one question why aren't Australians writing the laws for Australia...?

Why are we adopting the United Nations policies..?

What would those people half a world away know about local conditions.....!
