It's simple: all the world loves a clown.

Lots of Americans just wanna sit on the couch, eat junk food, and be entertained by the TV.

Trump is, as you say, a clown.

To many people, he's entertaining.

Joe Biden is about as exciting as a Coldplay concert.

Trump is Alice Cooper.

aquascoot is right about Fat Steve & Janine, and that's why I predicted a second term for Trump way back in 2016.

Not really, but there was a suggestion for instance that in Florida the reason Hispanics voted for Trump over Biden was the messaging about Biden bringing back socialism.

Now if thats true, thats rank stupidity on the part of the voter.

Dems will have control of the House and now it looks like the Senate which means McConnell will be gone as majority leader and both Chambers will clip Trump's wings and make his life hell for the next two years.

And the Democrats, just like the ALP here, are too frightened to admit that.

The conservatives know that people are basically stupid, and they play to that weakness.

I think a line from The Simpsons sums it up perfectly: "You don't win friends with salad".

We all know salad (Biden) is good for you, but it's much more satisfying to scoff down half a pizza (Trump).

EVERY vote. It is what lawyers are for and extended deadlines are another form of voter disenfranchisement if ballots are tossed.
