A beautiful purry pussy.
I reckon Cheetahs are domestic animals and people should be allowed
to keep them as pets in Australia.

Why? - the Egyptians domesticated them before they went back to the wild -
1000s of years ago -
so they still have a domestic type gene in them.

Have We Really Domesticated the Cat?

Are cats really our pets? And have we fully domesticated the cat?
What might that tell us about our connection with nature?

Archaeologists recognise the domestication of animals as
one of the most important transitions in human history.
Join us as we deep dive into the surprising and fun world of domesticated animals.

Featuring:
Professor Adam Brumm from Griffith University and
YouTuber Julian O’Shea who break down the concepts and
help us understand animals (and history) better.
