Women DID do the huge bulk of ironing (now nobody does it.)

Apart from an electric iron in the toolshed “for repairs” I really do not see why smoothing irons belong in the tool shed.

Still, you showed your POWER, eh Set?

An iron is a tool, is it not? Wink

A woman’s tool. A tool kept in the laundry.

Never mind, Set had his fun.

So that's what you take from this? Even though you have been throwing your "power" around since you were elected mod of C&C? Not that it was in the wrong place? I'd expect that, much like Arsie, you can never be wrong. The iron is a tool more than it is a women's issue, that's why it's now in the tool shed, I guess I would have left in Tech if you started it there.

Ironing is not a "women's" issue no matter what they did in the past. It'd be like starting a thread about nursing in the "women's issue" MRB. We do not live in the 18th century like you. I ironed clothes with my mum when I was a kid, I'm male, my sister did not. I'm sure in the 18th century they had sweatshops full of kids doing it. And yeah, sure it was women's work for a while. That does not mean a thread about irons and ironing belongs in "Women's Issues" as I'm pretty sure it's not much an issue any more.

When Monk had access to The Real PA he had a drawerful of socks, all with feminine names. Why is that Monk? Nef, do you recall all of them? Robina was a favourite of his.

Only Maxine that I remember, “Lady Ignora.”

The other socks were JovialMonk1, JovialMonk100, JovialMonk1001 I would create in the morning and Boxy would ban in the afternoon. Maxine had a slightly longer life than that tho boxy went back on his word and banned that sock. Go look, Booby, those socks should still be there. Learn to realise, child, that people will lie to you—learn to be a bit skeptical about what people tell you. People have agendas quite often.

You had an entire drawerful of feminine socks, Mong. Do you like to wear women's clothing in private as well?

There is a "Lady Ignora" here at Ozpol. Whose sock is it? It is Aussie's sock. At PA, it was a shared sock, and yes, I was one of several people who had access to it.

Booby established I am not a mong, nor am I a Hmong. Maybe you are a mong? I mean, accusing me of having a “drawerful of socks with female names” yet could only mention Maxine, eh Lady Ignora? That was an own goal there, mong!

Oh the irony!
