He picked NZ because it is a pretty tolerant and easygoing country, and thus it was 'easy' to work up his plot without anyone being the wiser. Obviously the Muslims there are a peaceable lot and mostly refugees, so his terrorist-based intent of causing maximum grief and coverage and instilling fear had fertile ground there. Innocents are always the best meat for media coverage and maximum impact - look at the recent murders of aid workers in Africa by an Islamic group.

Not a single 'terrorist' or 'murderous radical' among the victims in NZ - just ordinary people.

Unfortunately that is precisely the same kind as the Manchester bombers etc inflicted terrible harm and death on - but that is the way of the terrorist.

Rather than calling this freak a 'white supremacist' - since he is an insult to white people worldwide - he should simply be called a lunatic terrorist same as that nutter in Norway.... he's a classical short-arsed little prick with some serious mental deficiencies. NMU Syndrome - Not Much Upstairs - and I can see the Provosts rubbing their hands together at the idea of putting him in a military prison (in the event Australia trades him, that is - but we don't want him back).

Life without in a prison filled with Maori gang members... Maoris are a funny lot - if they feel offended by this kind of thing, they'll make it known quickly... they don't side with a 'fellow prisoner' when he's a first class shunt.
