Trump May Walk Away
Jul 2nd, 2020 at 1:12am

Republican operative tells Fox News that Trump may drop out of the 2020 presidential race

Quote:
His advisors say that he has little interest in the responsibility that comes with being president. He's in the race because he's afraid of being known as a "loser" or a "one-term president."

"The president has told me [on multiple occasions] that he is determined to not be a one-termer, and says that history forever remembers them as 'losers,'" said a former senior Trump administration official, told The Daily Beast.

Quote:
So, if Trump reaches the point where he's sure he's going to lose, would it be less humiliating for him to quit the race and be a one-term president of his own volition or by losing at the ballot box and being forever considering himself a "loser"?

Sounds like something straight out of the fringe media. Ol' F A T T Y is too stupid and too proud to drop out. He enjoys Tweeting over running the country to quit now.

From Russia with love I fly to you
Much wiser since my goodbye to you
I've traveled the world to learn
I must return from Russia with love
I've seen places, faces and smiled for a moment
But oh, you haunted me so
Still my tongue tied, young pride
Would not let my love for you show
I case you say no
To Russia I flew but there and then
I suddenly knew you'd care again
My running around is through
I fly to you, from Russia with love

why not!!!    or a pantomime.....sounds more the drill.. Grin Grin

knowing the yanks I wouldnt put anything past them...

Trump should not worry at the thought of going down in history as a loser....I would think thats the least of his worries......hilarius!!!

You would think that it being reported on Fox might get some of the usual suspects to take notice and maybe take it seriously, but somehow I don't think that' show this will happen.

Might help OAN get more viewers.

I can see this going either away. His narcissism may force him to say I'm going to lose, better to resign than get beaten.

Or his narcissism may say theres no way I can be beaten.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

My thoughts exactly.

The smart move would be going out with dignity.

Cite health reasons, or wanting to spend more time with Barron before he grows up, etc.

His supporters would lap it up.

"He made America great again in just four years, and now he's spending time with his family. What an awesome guy".

BUT, does he really believe he's going to win again?

How Trump loses is irrelevant. Biden's already said what he'll do when the time comes to investigate.

He said he'll stand aside and let justice take its course. That means the FBI looking into Stormy et al and the state of New York looking into charity fraud, etc. For all we know, New York already has the indictments waiting to go.

Mike Cohen's doing three years for a crime he has Trump on tape ordering him to do. That's a slam dunk case. The only question is which jurisdiction will win the job of prosecuting.

Trump's only way out is a Biden pardon. Biden would be a fool to do this - it cost Gerald Ford his re-election for pardoning Nixon. There's probably far more knives sharpened for Trump today than there were for Nixon. America is even more divided now than it was then.

When Trump goes, there will be a groundswell for justice. It'll definitely be payback time. Trump of all people should know this.

Soon he'll be back to being an ordinary citizen again. Let's see how he goes getting out of that.

Trump The Musical has been done.

I'd love to see Seth MacFarlane do a production.

Oh blah blah! The BS you come out with!

I'm not surprised given what he's had to endure. The criminals sure can fight hard. Unfortunately Trump underestimated how deep and rancid is the swamp - the Demons and their minions control America.

Interesting to notice the difference watching a replay of an infrequent Obama press conference and his media cheer squad. Applause at every word and mealy mouthed questions - such a contrast to Trumps press conferences.
